What a beautiful version of this song. Love how you did this, nice to see a young person who appreciates the oldies (although in comparison to these songs, I'm a youngster too, haha).
Thank you! Yes, it's strange to think that nearly all of us who are listening today are younger than the songs themselves! It shows how timeless good music is.
Thanks, Steve! The arrangement I have (which in in Gershwin songbook and has copyright date of 1924) has just a single verse and chorus. I think that's all that was published, but I could be wrong. I could have repeated the chorus, but I decided it was nice as it was.
Gotta luv the Gershins. You always give superb renditions of these great songs from our past. Thank you for your dedication 😊
Thank you, John! I am glad you enjoyed it. I feel like I am building a real collection of old American popular song favorites now!
Bravissima. Complimenti. Grande voce. Viva la musica
Thank you for the high praise! I really appreciate it!

Lovely.
Thanks! What a funny doggie!
I must have died and gone to heaven. I'm hearing an angel sing.
Remarkable to come back to life.
Thank you! It's all part of the theatre of the piece. Great performances seem to come from another world.
❤
Thanks for listening!
Am i sitting at the opera? This is so good!
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed it!

Another lovely rendition of a classic -- thanks! Perhaps because this song is short, other versions I've heard of it are complete. -- Steve

Very Nice!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I think the forearm needs to rotate more (like when turning a metal key🗝️) for changes of note in the same hand. Good singing, by the way!
Thank you; I'll try to remember that!
