What a beautiful "cover". My Mom married her highschool sweetheart in the 50s and this was played at their wedding. Had three children then he died. My dad married her after Vietnam. They had 50 years together. She died last October. Dad is lost without her.
Imagine walking down the aisle with these men playing this song. Wow.

Omg… I really bawl my eyes out upon hearing this rendition with violin, cello and piano. Me and my husband of 52 years love this song. I sometimes sing this piece to him in the evening while we were at the garden before going to bed. He gone to heaven 3 years ago. Leaving me with loneliness and sadness.😭

I'll never forget...grade school...sitting in music class and the teacher brings out the old turntable and puts the album on for us to hear...and the music that came from that album was a string version of this very piece.
In that very moment, I was immediately swept away and forever in love with music.
And you sirs did such a wonderful job recapturing that feeling and experience for me in this beautiful arrangement.
