King Henry the 8th is closer to King Charles reign than he is to Alfred the Great. In fact, if Henry started his reign in 2023, he would see Alfred’s reign as having started in 1400. Really makes you think about how long the monarchy has existed in Great Britain.
That’s actually quite interesting, never really thought about it before!

Just found you, in this space/time thing, we live in.
Big thanks for that. You're, really, really good, at what you do.
Video is a masterpiece!
Brilliant
I really wish the newer royals would name their children some of the old AngloSaxon names! It would help bridge any gap between times a thousand years ago and today.
I don’t think a lot of royals want the old Anglo-Saxon names. Plus, they would have the same name but not have a numeral. If they were named Alfred, they would just be King Alfred with no II because they start numbers after William the Conqueror. If you mean names like Stephen, Anne, John and Jane, then yes, because those are somewhat modern names and would finally have an I after not having one.
You should make one with the US presidents and overtime mark their good feats or big events.
Obrigado James Fox 😃😁
Actually Lady Jane Grey is there, pause at the right time at 8:57
