I been listening to these all night and this is one of the few battles where it was pretty much about the singing, no theatrics and flashy lights and over singing. I love it.
Personally i would pick Amelia. Her voice blends sooo well and she has such great vocal ability and control. Such a shame that she went home.

At 1.10 Amelia comes in flat! For me Rachel starts the Song so well that I only ever focus on her for the rest of it she just captivates
1:50 Rachel is also flat, she’s also sharp at a lot of points in the song. She also ends almost every vocal line in her falsetto whereas Amelia was way more versatile and technical and unique with her more choices

Sooo much talent, unbelievable. Impossible to pick a winner, they were both incredible, emotional, absolutely spot on, just their voices are slightly different. Kylie liked Rachel's tone, but Amelia certainly has a wonderful sound as well. It comes down to taste, but both should have gone further. I really hope they both pursue their dream !

To all of you saying Amelia was better.. I couldn't disagree more. Rachel's tone is a lot better! And her look is stunning. :) But both of them are great
Another injustice made. Amelia had so much more character to her voice, not taking away from Rachael but this wasn't even close.That rapping uhhhhh no! Kylie looked as if she already had her mind made up before the battle even begun. This was obviously the wrong choice because she never made it past the next round. Amelia other than Lesher were was the only one who could give Christina Marie a run for her money. Seen it a million times, judges going for the quirky one because they want different when amazing is right there in front of them. Andrea Begley shouldn't have even made the finals last year let alone win Leah Mcfall should have won, Jessica Sanchez should have won idol and Ellona Santiago should have made the finals on x-facor, great examples on how these shows hardly ever get it right. I've looked at all the comments and although there are many Rachael fans the majority are in favor of Amelia. Just saying!

Everyone likes amelia. Personally I think racheal shows more emotion and connects with the songs she sings better. U can feel her singing I dont know how to explain it. Amelia just goes big. And shes great. But racheal has the better voice controll. To sing in a low key then throw a ridiculously high note anywhere is talent.

I thought rachael was the most deserving winner. her voice was clear and precise throughout the entire song. amelia wasbhard to understand at sections and was singing in a higher pitch wen it wasnt required. it should b a subtle song. both girls wer great but I agree with kylie's decision and song choice

Both of these girls are good singers. They do have their own distinct / unique sounds and they both sound good in their own ways. I could have gone either way. Don't envy Kylie having to make a tough decision. Unfortunately it's a competition and one of the girls had to go. Best of luck to Rachael who it appears was selected by Kylie. However, good luck to Amelia as well as she may go on to a good career hopefully as well.
You can tell they are fantastic singers plus they both know they are Irish 🇮🇪 from Irish backgrounds
