  • In this special episode of MTP, Perito Urology's own Dr. Alfredo Suarez-Sarmiento, Jr. undergoes a vasectomy performed by Dr. Perito.
    Although vasectomies used to be marked by long recovery times, modern urologists are able to perform the operation as a minimally invasive outpatient procedure. Most patients are able to quickly resume a full range of physical activities shortly after the procedure.
    We at Perito Urology hope that Dr. Suarez-Sarmiento's example will help encourage other men to undergo this safe, effective and quick procedure to assist in family planning.

    I had a no needle, no scalpel, open-ended, vasectomy, with thermal cautery, without clips. It was quick, easy, and painless! I watched all 6 minutes with my pants down around my ankles. If I hadn't watched it, it would be hard to believe anything had happened. Walked away feeling much better than going in because there was no fear of pain or anxiety because it was done! It was less discomfort than giving a blood sample for my physical! Three months later I tested STERILE! No worries or regrets!

    I can't emphasize how much your skill changed my life from one of pain and disappointment to one of limitless fun. Thank you for correcting a less skilled doctors failure and making my life stress-free and happy.

      My doctor got everything positioned under the skin before numbing me. That was the only part that was uncomfortable. The needle hurt less than a flu shot and no problem after that. No pain afterward either.

    I have peirced my own lip, nose, ears tattooed myself broken my collar bone and ankel among other things. Never have I yelled in pain. Or even complained really. I had a vasectomy today and the right side was excruciating i was yelling in the chair i sat through it but it was extremely painful all the way up into my stomach. The left side had discomfort and mild pain. Did he do something wrong that it caused so much pain in that right side? Im almost angry watching this because now i feel like he could have just stopped a second and injected more anesthetic into the vas or something. Let me know what you think please and great job my doctor never asked if i was good or could feel anything. Not to mention never offered to help me feel more comfortable as i was yelling on the table as he clamped the vas and started the dissection. One of the longest 5 minutes of my life as he was doing that right side.

      Yeah you definitely needed more drugs to numb ,did mine last week on the first . The only real pain is during this healing time that's why they prescribe drugs and make you ice . Sorry to hear your rough surgery. Sounded like he was use to so many clients using that amount to numb he figured you should be fine and that you may have been overreacting. But it's your scrotum so if you need more relief he or she should've checked and given.

    Are there a lot of clients where Cialis works ok for them and theyre able to have sex but , they still opt for an implant ? It just seems taking Cialis for the rest of ones life would be kind of tough as opposed to having a permanent solution being an implant. If you need cialis / pills to obtain an erection is a penile implant eventually inevitable? Can one take the pills forever if they work well enough to have intercourse? Its tough because at one point you can get a good quality erection with the pills but life kind of revolves around the pills refractory period etc ... Theres a lot of variables associated with pills and ED. Psychological , physical etc .... lastly , if the cialis / pills work should one avoid an implant completely? I know this is a different topic then the video posted but , thank you for your time.

    • @DrPaulPerito
      @DrPaulPerito  Год назад +1

      Usually the penile implant is the last part of the algorithm, but when men want a 100% guarantee for a penetrating penis, they move to an implant as an option.

      Giving anesthetics time to take effect and making sure the patient is comfortable is an essential part of the vasectomy procedure.

    i don’t understand why men go through this painful procedure you can avoid all of this by just getting the woman to abort the fetus

    • @rachelr12345
      @rachelr12345 9 месяцев назад +5

      Because abortions are expensive and extremely invasive. It's much easier to not have to worry about it than having to having multiple abortions. Plus a vasectomy is alot less painful and harsh on the body than having an abortion.
