You did an incredible job considering it was on an ultra tight budget. It works and it gives you a new truck. Even if you decided to sell it after the move you could probably make a small profit off of the truck because it looks way more appealing for the used market. You should fit right in when you get to Texas considering the fact that you now own a RAM 1500. I'm originally from San Diego, California and the car culture is far different in the Midwest compared to SO CAL. BMW was the shit back when I was in high school but now that I attend the University of Arkansas it's all about Trucks and Jeeps. Not my kind of taste as I am a sports car guy. I'm working on a wide body Honda S2000 AP1. It already has a 10 point cage welded into the chassis.
Question when you replaced the driver door what did you do about your VIN label? Where you able to transfer it to your new door or did you have to get a new VIN label? I need to replace my driver door also on my 2016 Ram so I'm just curious. Also when I repainted the fender for my Ram I used SprayMax 3680061 2K clear in a rattle can and it was a perfect match for the gloss, and my truck is brilliant black pearl.
I have a feeling youll make at least 300k subs this year. We'll see. Keep posting

Getting out of California before you have to turn your 240 to electric
get a whizzy wheel decal remover, like $20 on amazon, damn good tool for removing sticker and what not. If you are going to do more than a few decal removers having the right tool is soo nice.
Can’t you also use a fishing line to de-badge it?
