Ummm yes and no. The time He gives...is he on his phone the whole time...playing video games and not speaking to you? Time is time but how you spend it is how you tell if he loves you.

My beloved late husband and I met after being set up by a friend. He said he took one look at me and before he’d even said hello, told himself silently “I’m going to marry that girl”. On our second date he arrived with 2 dozen red roses. 2 months later we moved in together. It was just like 2 comets streaking across the sky. In addition to being the worlds sweetest, most wonderful man who put me before anything else, it didn’t hurt that he was 6’4” and DDG. But that was beside the point. For 38 years he was the best reason to open my eyes every day. But fast moving Parkinson’s disease took him; I only had him on hospice for 6 days. His last words to me were “Do you have any idea how much I love you?”
I doubt there’ll ever be another love in my life but after what I was privileged to have I can’t complain.

This is a common story I hear from people in long, happy marriages: The man knew right away the moment the couple met. I was there the night a friend of mine met her husband. I could tell he was smitten with her right away. He told the buddy he was with that night “I’m going to marry that girl.” They’re still together and that was 20 years ago.
I feel it in my bones when a man isn’t that into me. Things just don’t add up: excuses, etc. My mother always told me that a man who is interested in you will climb a mountain to see you. If he isn’t interested, he will avoid that mountain.
My uncle would walk from one town to the next to see my aunt when they were dating in the 60s. It would take him 3 hours there...to walk...to see her and 3 hours back....they have been married for 50+ years

Oddly, many people misphrase this as "whenever somebody tells you who they are, believe them" 😆
So, after spending years on dating apps, I found men in their 30's just want to have fun, casual because they think that they're young still, and has a lot of time to think about in serious relationship.
Now, men in their 40's they're just got out divorced, and they still feels guilty towards their kid(s) so they would prioritize the kid rather pursue a serious relationship.
And lastly, men in their 50's, they just got out of decades of relationship, divorced, kids are all grown up, empty nester, and now they're saying it's Me Time, so they would live they're life like they're in their 20's and 30's, casual sex, drinking like in college, staying up all night at the bar, hitting up with women left and right, which they never had the experience because they married early and forced to be serious about life and be a provider.
So, it's like looking for a unicorn nowadays. Men would always not serious about women and would always not into them unless they are doing it for their own benefits. And not because of LOVE.

I think men are only serious in the moment they think about creating a family, in this case they commit. Doesn't mean they don't cheat. But they commit to a relationship. Other than that, I think most men prefer to be free as a bird and just enjoy life and sex with many different women. They don't want a commited relationship. I think we have to accept it for what it is.
I just read something that said, "if you get bit by a snake don't chase after it and figure out why. Walk away and get the poison out." Don't waste time on something or someone that isn't worth your time.

Forgetting my birthday is a deal breaker! Anytime I allowed this one get a pass its always led to a disaster and more regrets so now forget my birthday I forget him.
My boyfriend forgot my birthday twice. He said he put it in his Google calendar but when he got a new phone it didn't transfer over. Then one month later on the same day he said he got his Google reminder. I'm thinking if I was important to him he wouldn't need a Google reminder, he would remember my birthday on his own. What do you think? But I feel childish breaking up with him because he forgot my birthday. I told him birthdays were very important to me. For his 50th birthday, I gave him a special party and we celebrated together. For my 50th, I got nothing. He couldn't even remember my special day. He tried to tell me he never remembers birthdays, not even his own son's. I'm confused because I have feelings for him but I don't want to live the rest of my life with someone who doesn't remember my birthday. What should I do? Or am I being selfish?
The guy I was head over heels about forgot my birthday for 4 years straight, AND my birthday is on a holiday! He also only wants to meet up when we are alone. He cancels when we have plans to meet in public. I’m not in his prime time either. Matt is totally correct.

I like to establish a friendship first and really get to know who he really is.
Once we pass that point, however, I won’t settle for half in half out .
I had been on 1 date with a guy and prior to our second date he told me I would get “bonus points” if I don’t overdress him like the first date. He said he felt insecure because I looked better than him… I was taken aback, I definitely don’t want to be dating an insecure guy. I broke it off before the second date 😅
Edit: We met on a dating app and all my pictures are of me looking nicely dressed (he knew what he was signing up for 😂 take me as I am or not at all), I am into vintage and elegant fashion and always want to dress how I want to be addressed. There’s absolutely no shame in that, I am confident so that may have intimidated him but his loss. I know the right man for me will embrace and be happy for my sense of style ❤
My measure of the intent,is whether he introduces you to family and friends, pays attention to your likes and dislikes,compatible interests.
And shows acts of affection.
1) When you both have time off work and he asks you when you're together the week prior about your schedule but doesn't then call you to plan anything. That's an indicator he wants you to do all the work.
2) When he tells you "I don't think we work together well," then a week later calls you last minute to meet him and his friends somewhere 45 minutes away from your home.
3) When he straight up calls himself a confirmed bachelor who has nothing against marriage but has never thought about it for himself.

I’m seeing a man that lives 80 minutes from me. He has a great job and he’s a musician on weekends. He rehearses twice a week. He sends me his photo every morning and texts me 3 times a day. We haven’t had a date yet. He did say he’s interested in moving more closer to my place.

I think the biggest red flag in the most recent, I'll call "situationship", instead of relationship, that I have gone through is that I could message until I was blue in the face. But unless I actually Facetimed him, I would probably go weeks not hearing from him. He would most always answer if I did Facetime. But rarely would he be the one to make that first move. As recently as last night he said to me that he does truiy love me. If that is the case then what is the issue? Hmmm....

The guy I was seeing told me he was crazy about me, but I’d rarely hear from him and when he bailed on me on 4th of July, we got into an argument over it and we stopped talking. I was the one who reached out (because I’m an idiot) even though he’s the one who messed up. Claimed he would fight for me, but did not do that once. Thank you Mat Boggs, your video opened my eyes about a relationship I have been in where I thought the guy loved me so dearly but with time I have seen weird questions full of ifs and then ending up at the level of my parents don't approve interracial marriage and I am so sorry for causing you pain. I understand that if he was so serious that he would go out of his way and showcase me to his family to get them convinced with me with the purpose for them to know me and I to know them. Your video opened my eyes to let go of him and not to keep hope that one day he will come back to me and say I still love you, let me introduce you to my parents or my parents approve of you. After watching your video I felt relieved from the heartbreak I was going through and now I can let go of him, making room for the right person in the future.

I know that there are salads and other foods at McDonalds other than just fries and hamburgers. There also is the choice of water with the pops for drinks.
I know that there are more choices inside McDonalds that can be seen to order from online or on their app.
But it can be changed to go to a much more nutritious fast food restaurant
What about if you have both been in relationships previously and both have children from that relationship. You both may be taking things a lot slower
I don't think he's saying you can't take it slow, just that the guy needs to be investing time and energy into you and your relationship, on the same level that you are.

I met a man who chased me endlessly with his time, gifts. Until he caught me. Then it slowed down. I finally dumped him. He started it all over again ! It was the chase that he craved. Oh no, take a hike.
I have a new one for you... every guy has told me he IS that serious. They've all proposed. Then run away with another girl. Or ran back to their pregnant wives I had no idea about in the first place. They've all shown all the signs of a loving loyal committed partner, but they simply picked a day to stop being that- with NO warning. I'm talking at least a dozen guys here. So, what are the signs that I'm NOT seeing when he is actively "performing" like a guy who loves me?
When there are problems, issues, arguments and quarrels or disagreements. And the man chooses to just shut down and close yourself off. And not talk about those things and he doesn't want to discuss those problems and issues. And this man just disappears. With no communication. No telephone calls no texting know nothing. That's a red flag.
When a man wants to blame you for everything and say everything is your fault and put everything in your lap and on your shoulders and take no responsibility for anything. That's a red flag
When a man has nothing good to say about you. Except for putting you down and complaining about everything that you say and do. And as far as he is concerned there's nothing good about you and he can't find anything good to say. That's a red flag

What if he calls every morning, sometimes throughout the day and every night, as well as always texting me in the morning, during the day and a goodnight text, but he doesn’t have time to see me in person? I spent a month and a half in a relationship, not seeing him in person at all. He said that after we see each other in person he will have more time and can see me in person a few times a week, but in reality he actually went back to not seeing me in person and only have an over the phone type of relationship with me? We only saw each other in person once in a two month relationship
