I love your banter with your Twitch buddies, even if I don't always understand your references. That being said, more content is always good, as long as we can hear your thoughts while playing. :)
If you hold tab down at the start, the game gives you information about all sorts of mechanics including the weapons. For instance, the bow regains stamina for every enemy hit by your charge shot. Also, dashing after firing a charge shot costs no stamina If you hit a poisoned enemy with a cursed weapon (curse damage) it greatly increases the poison on them. If you hit a poisoned enemy with fire damage, the dot they take is increased (basically it burns through the poisoned hp bar faster)
I think why the swordsman in this temple always get me is cause sometimes they swing twice sometimes it's three times. The regular babies aren't too bad cause their lightning shoots in a straight line but the fucking elite babies, their lightning literally curves around and always hits me lmao. I hate it.
Last room before last boss. Its challenge room. Im full HP (2000) with OP healing effects. Decide to go for it to get to 10,000 gold for relic. Get just SLAPPED to death between 2 Elite babies and 1 Elite Swordman. GGWP from 2000 to 0 in like 5 seconds
Watching you play gets me through the day until I can get home and lose to either those babies or the end boss in 3rd level Eagle temple for the gazillionth time. But I know the next run will be the one I beat it! I like the longer run format BTW.
Long form always helps me do other things, since short form requires more focus I feel like. So technically longer form content makes me more productive in a weird way.
FINALLY beat level 3 eagle temple this morning! The one thing I think everyone who plays the game agrees with is that the devs need to update balancing. Eagle temple is just so much harder than the other temples, and IMO the babies need to be nerfed somehow. It took me 13 tries to beat level 3 eagle temple and about 10 of those deaths were from getting stuck with no stamina and the babies just spamming their lightning attack for half my health with other enemies attacking at the same time. All they have to do is make the babies' lightning attacks parryable so you are able to get out of trouble.
There is number of enemies that if you strike them at certain distance, they reset their attack pattern and start attacking again without any cooldown. For example Abomination can do this as well, but it's not that fast like baby, and you won't get multiple of them. I hate idea that if you say 'souls like', you can free pass on not polished mechanics and lack of testing/balancing. Cause I did finish all Dark Souls games..
Regarding content length, I like variety in length, but I will always make time for a short (25-45 minute) videos. I think an hour 15 is about my limit. I'm interested in longer videos, but if I feel like it's hard to make time for it I'll skip it.
While I do find cuts irritating at times I still think they are necessary. But I would advise cutting between exploration stuff (like skipping looting gold on gold rooms) and focus on combat I hate this temple with passion. FUCKING HARPIES can get you off screen. They either fly by you or LOCK ON. And its harder to parry just because the distance that they fly is always different. Sometimes you dodge back and they miss but sometimes they are homing missiles. Swordmen are random and attack very frequently and have too much health.. Hardest temple by a longshot. Oh forgot to mention the curse that strikes with lightning and send a shockwave around. And no need to mention babies..
The guy bad mouthing dreamscaper in twitch chat is delusional. The game has more builds than hades and is somewhere between that game and this one. At first graphics and story kinda held me back but there are literally so many different ways to play... all the weapons have different hit boxes and builds. 100 hours + , as for this I'm 30 or so and its a little grindy but if you like dark souls it feels just like that.
I really enjoy watching you and reading something so I can keep traning my english, But this game..it's just sad. Cranking up difficulty can't be called content. Graphics are ok. Sound is worst of all games I tried since many years.
I don't know if I'm in the majority when I say this, but long content = best content!
I also enjoy long content- good to put on when working on homework and other things!
"The brown stuff they spread on veggie sandwiches?"
"No, Seaweed Brain. That's HUMMUS. hubris is worse."
"What could be worse than hummus?"

They're terrible, feels like a big spike in difficulty because they can attack very quickly too.

@@Vlasog Sounds about right.

Longer cuts for full runs are fun! I can watch while I work
I looove the longer vids with chat banter and chat talk is a lot of the content for me :)
I'm enjoying the current video format

I prefer longer content, but I’ll watch whatever you put out!
Haelian did you really turn down a +12 stat relic at 28:55?
I do enjoy the uncut content more. May seem more boring at times, but the pacing is very nice and more content is more content!
I generally prefer the longer video cut... but whichever is easier for you.

More CotDG! Nice!!

I prefer the shorter edited videos.
