It's my childhood and adulthood too. I still play this game :D
It really did have great music. Even as a kid you could recognize how incredible that soundtrack was. I used to linger on the town scenes even though I was done doing stuff in the town... just to listen to that town's theme a little longer. THAT is a great soundtrack.
I remember one day I got home from school and my brother was playing a game on PC. I sat near and was blown away by the atmosphere. He was playing HOMM3 the Fortress faction and I couldn't move. I was captivated. The music, the graphics, the gameplay. Everything was perfect. I was in heaven.

The 90s were the golden age of PC gaming, until XBox killed it. So much quality, innovation and passion for the art of gaming, rather than passion for money. That's why we keep coming back to those games. It's not just nostalgia. I play Heroes 2 to this day, and a bunch of other games from GoG when I get the time. They will always stand the test of time.
I keep this game forever in my computer.
I feel the same way about M&M 6-8. We need to wrestle the franchise away from Ubisoft and give it back Jon Van Caneghem!
Say what you want about Ubi. They at least had the sense to remaster 3.

When I saw a friend sharing this on FB I thought ,,Meh, this is probably the soundtrack of the TV series ,,Heroes", no way it's the music of THAT heroes" but then I clicked on it anyway and I'm really glad I did.

It reminds me good old days... There was no work, no women, no fight, no survival when I was playing the game the first time in my life. I was an ordinary student at high school and basicly wasn't thinking about anything. Instead of thinking there was only dreaming. I love you Hereos III.

Śledzę Waszą twórczość z wielką i uwagą i przyjemnością już od dłuższego czasu, i choć nie należę do wylewnych osób, czuję, że muszę Wam to w końcu powiedzieć.
Chciałabym Wam ze szczerego serca podziękować. Nie będzie w tym przesady, kiedy powiem, że spełniliście moje marzenie. Już od daaawna pragnęłam usłyszeć muzykę z 'hirołsów' zagraną przez orkiestrę z krwi i kości.
Znajdą się pewnie tacy, co powiedzą, że to tylko gra, jednak ta gra od długich lat pozostaje częścią mojego (i wiem, że nie tylko mojego) życia, oraz niezawodnym sposobem na poprawę humoru. Największą magią tej gry jest jej niesamowity klimat, a jego ogromną części stanowi muzyka. Natomiast Wy uczyniliście tę muzykę jeszcze bardziej cudowną, nadając jej większej głębi, czyniąc ją naprawdę poruszającą.. Słowa zresztą zawodzą. Zwyczajnie wzruszam się do łez, za każdym razem, gdy Was słucham.
Dziękuję Wam raz jeszcze, przepraszam, że się tak rozpisałam i mam wielką nadzieję, że zawitacie kiedyś w okolice pomorza!

I still remember it was 2002 and I was 6, one day I was at my neighbor's home watching my friend's dad playing this game, I was stunned... that mysterious and magical feel captured by the music and art got me so hooked, I soon asked for this game as my birthday gift from my parents. This magical world of Heroes III was so fascinating, it also gave me countless nightmares but I just couldn't stop playing... It also made me love turn based strategy game when I grew older, but no game can compared to this imo..

My god, just hearing the Fortress theme - my favorite faction for some reason - played live was just absolutely transcendent. Heroes 3 had such an incredible soundtrack, and you guys did an insanely good job bringing it back to life all these years later.

Najlepszym momentem w tym filmie jest, gdy okazuje się,że soundtrack z najlepszej gry dzieciństwa- Heroes III, jest wykonywany przez polską orkiestrę. Wielkie uznanie i czapki z głów za genialne wykonanie i poprowadzenie całego koncertu.

When I was looking for live concerts of videogames that I like so much, and saw that the composer Paul Romero did one live concert of Heroes of Might & Magic III.. of TWO hours!... I found not one single reason to avoid this.
When the lights turned off, and heard the opening for Necropolis... A tear escaped from both eyes, while also thinking: -"I truly wish I was there". It was such a majestic execution.
And the songs that I wished they were longer, they're now, with the 20th anniversary treatment they deserve.
From a 25-year-old man of Argentina, I wish to pay my respects to you: the composer, the instrumentalists, the vocals, the sound mixer and the audience for being respectful by remaining silent throughout your majestic performance and I wish you all the highest stack of morale and luck in all battles to come.

What a fantastic thing this is - the arrangement is absolutely on point, leading with the new day, NWC load screen and main menu - it made me tear up. This soundtrack holds such a special place in my heart, I’m so glad this performance happened, I hope it happens again so I may experience it. The full choir in the back adds so much depth and new elements to already timeless pieces - I’m in awe.
Imagine having an entire orchestra dedicated to your compositions, that has to be cool.

Freakin loved this game as a child, even later I installed it and played it. There really isn't a game in my whole life of gaming that could come near to the package that this game is/was. The atmosphere, the gameply, the graphics, the feel, really overall loved it!

This is so good!!! I have volume on max in my truck! I wanna see it live. First played Heroes 2 as a demo version and was hooked. When 3 came out we spent all our time at the youth center playing it.
