I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm not evolved enough of a person to send loving energy to the people who wronged me. However, I am able to wish them healing, because that is objectively for everyone's higher good, and it could help them understand the bad they have done and therefore prevent them from doing more wrong.
I'm also struggling with letting go/detaching, but when I catch myself getting angry I just express gratitude for 4-5 things in my life and it helps.
