I'd like to add an ingredient. I haven't told many people this, but I feel like this is a good spot to spread it. I've been SAed a few times. It never affected me, I'm not tramatized from it. I see why it would affect people. But at some point I got a driving job. I used to have to drive past that person's house. And at some point I had to drive by again, and this horrible feeling you get. I was sick of it. I looked at this feeling, and I said, "Hey, I was pinned down in that moment. How dare you try to keep me pinned down now, too." And I've been okay ever since. And anything like that "You're not allowed to control me." I fucked up getting myself in a bad relationship, and they were pretty controlling. They're not allowed to control me now, I'm out of that. I love myself too much to let them linger in my brain. I gave them an eviction notice from my brain and heart. Free those and your spirit frees too.

I know exactly the people you were talking about who are stuck in old negative patterns of thinking. Those are the people who I can feel are trying to fast forward their progress to where I'm at, without doing the work. Like hitching my success wagon. Wow! When you said one good eye, it hit me. When I was with my ex narc husband, he hit me in my eye and it caused me to have a instant cataract and glaucoma, my iris had to be removed and I had to have a tube put in my eye to keep my pressure down.
