Try versing this thing in helicopter only mode. I just got my first helicopter the ah-1g. I can only get spawn camped by this thing without even seeing it. Its bs
I have flown my KA 50 in Heli EC and have been spawn camped by AH-1g and every thing else. Spawn camping is rampant in Heli EC. Always fly as low as you can then a little lower eventually you will catch someone fixated on guiding a vkhrs missile at a spawn not paying attention to their altitude, making themselves a perfectly silhouetted target against the sky. Hug the ground fast as you can go, fly right up under them and shoot them in the belly before someone else does. Learn to stay below the tower on take of helps too. Its harder for the spawn campers to see you. except for the helis with thermals.
@Dex4Sure Well i have actually been able to obtain a positive K/D with my IAR while fighting Ka-50's, you just need to be tactical and use the terrain as cover.
Well the proximity fuse on their ATGM's does not trigger below around 100ft, and on maps like Vietnam it is actually very easy to sneak around and get close, which is how i have been able to kill plenty of Ka-50's in much less powerful helis such as the IAR-316 and Bo-105

The Ka50's pro's doesn't whey more than the con's, it's a very good sniper but the worst in close combat There is nothing more refreshing than dogfighting with helicopters in this game. They should really extend the content with helis, smaller maps and better matchmaking in heli battle + more ground targets, lesser spawnpoints and br for lower tier helis without atgms in Tank RB, and etc. There are some damn good players out there, that's for sure, it would be nice to play helis one day without becoming disgusted with the game when you've activated 3 boosters and you join a game and starts on the losing team with 10min left against at least 5 ka50s that have 30 kills each (I saw a dude with 60+ kills one time, jeeeez..), sometimes I have to just leave helicopters for a day or two, ka50 cancer and the length and monotone gameplay in Helicopter Battles can make you pull your hair out, when you've flown for 15 minutes chasing caps and gts to get killed by a ka50 almost every time just about 10km away, I remember I LOST 50k SL in one game after 2 hours gameplay. Bacon how do you compare this to the Havoc? I’ve got both and finding it hard to say what I would rather take. The thermals on the Havoc are great but the Ka-50’s Vikhrs (which they Havoc should have too I should add) as so much more versatile against air targets. Quite difficult to really say which is definitively better.

Firstly i don't know who jameski is, could you perhaps link his channel? Secondly the Vikhrs on the Mi-28 are a specific upgrade package that is not represented in game (yet) so it is more likely we will just get the vikhrs on the Ka-52 in the tech tree rather than the 28 getting them.

I played against this in EC mod with Mi-35.. It was impossible.. Vikhr's are too OP just because enemy can lock on, shot missile and computer will guide missile on target while KA-50 pilot can dodge missiles too.
Game Over in real life the vikhrs are not what they do in game, as the missile s guiding on a “ground vehicle” it does spirals as it approaches the target ,
So the Ka50 doesn't actually have radar... huh... I guess the Ka50 players are just really good at spotting targets in Heli EC then. I always wondered how they spotted me so easily, and I still have no idea XD

Step one, buy KA 50 step two, fire from 10kms away.
BTW once you “lock-on” to the enemy you can go to cockpit view and fly around a bit and it’ll still guide itself
yeh, i just prefer to watch the missile to ensure i actually hit the target.

Killing Ka-50's in a crappy heli is very satisfying, i have had some funny moments doing that in my IAR-316 recently.

Personally i prefer the Havoc, but i would not say either is definitively better, it is more down to personal play style.

Also the Vikhr proxy fuse will not work against air targets that are below 25m (Same as SPAA)

In realistic against US this bird don't have chance, same story if jet is coming.
It really depends on the player, you just need to expect there to be an ADATS, and then stay low and flank.
