A465 Dualling Project Progress: Early 2024

- In this video, we'll be driving through section 5 and 6 of the A465 heads of the valleys dualling project. This section of the project will see the construction of 6 new junctions, and is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

Be interesting to see how the ongoing works affect the 9 (Merthyr Tydfil to Aberdare) and the 172 (Merthyr Tydfil to Porthcawl).

@@UK.RoadsCyclingandTransport they both use the Gellideg to Hirwaun stretch of the A465. I know from experience that the 3, which goes from Merthyr to Bargoed via Prince Charles Hospital, has been up to 20 minutes late due to the time taken getting to the Asda roundabout.
Hopefully things improve, unless they slap a 50 mph limit on it as the government tends to do
Bit difficult to see what’s been done because it’s too fast but thanks anyway
I mean I did record it at 2x speed though, I've noticed that music makes it feel a little quicker perhaps I should make a silent version

I know that, I just stated that I recorded the scheme a 2x speed on the GoPro
