- Jowers97 was the first channel I got partnered with RUclips. It was back in 2018 and revolved around Red Dead Redemption 2 & Red Dead Online. Unfortunately in 2022, the channel took a turn for the worse as I neglected it. Now it's time to bring it back up to where it originally was with RUclips automation.

Sure, why not. I think I need "RUclips" in there but I will let this sit as is. It's got 79 views in the last 48 hours and the current CTR is 6.9%. The video is still getting impressions so we'll see what happens after a couple days

@@MilosPiano I'm slow to get to comments but I reply to 99% eventually. This video did better than my channel average but it started to die down so why not test a few things with the title

@@MilosPiano I had nothing to los. It's either this becomes a killer title that helps of the video or it slowly fades out just like it was doing with the previous title
One of my videos just blown up it’s getting around 1k views per day. This video bring 50% views to my daily channel views. But the problem is the ctr of the video is only 5%. Now my question is should I change the thumbnail with a new one or stick with the current thumbnail
There's no problem sticking with what you currently have but if you believe you can increase the CTR, change it.
I have 50K subscribers but just 100 views 😭😭 i lost the opportunity
You haven't lost the opportunity. Views fluctuate all the time.
I really appreciate this video. My channel has been dead for quite a while now and I plan on doing anything to revive it. My channel used to be known for plants vs zombies content but now I'm trying to branch out to angry birds. I like the idea of youtube shorts, I may hire a person to help edit youtube shorts and tiktoks for me.
Shorts did really well. Much better than expected. I think as a gamer, it's worth finding a way to transition to another game like Angry Birds but also adding more personality so viewers eventually come back for you rather than the game you're playing. This is a problem I faced with my channels. They were never about me.

Do you reckon psychology channels mixed with productivity/self improvement are growable niches? Channels similar to psych2go for example

I genuinely believe there's room to grow in all topics but you need to find the keywords with less competition. I would imagine psychology, productivity and self improvement as keywords have too much competition. It wouldn't be impossible to grow, just harder at the beginning. Go specific within these niches, you can look at psychology or productivity within work life balance for example. Still hits your key topics but is broken down into something that has a higher chance of ranking. Build up in smaller topics first and then branch out
@@JamieOwers Solid advice mate thanks, might check vidiq for relevant sub niches, like some psych channels focus on narcissism, some focus on relationships and so on.

@@45s The audience is just around what you're looking for. If I plan to create a gaming channel, I will select a game and then I will research to find what that audience is looking for
tags dont actually do much in youtube. it literally tells you they dont do much.
I know, I have videos on this myself but it literally takes minutes and with the right tools you can see where your videos rank for each search term making it easier to pick videos in the future.
Where are we finding great video editors? I haven’t managed to find a great editor who understands storytelling
It's tough. I use YT Jobs but make sure you qualify and set up a paid test. I have a video in progress on how to build a dream RUclips team.
I love how homie called 5k views per day a dead channel.
It's all relative. It was 5k views a day, about $15 on a 70k subscriber channel. I personally do no like those returns. It's better than nothing but it was so much better and could've been better. Hence the massive jump once I got things fixed
Where did you get a script writer?
I didn't on this one. I was doing the VO and I already knew the game so I was able to rift.

Hey so I converted this channel into like a funny animal shorts channel and all my shorts they would get 2k then gradually increase then flatline again. I am uploading 3-4 shorts a day what should I do to increase the views? Note that I am getting around 15-30k views a day am I uploading too much? Some of these shorts don’t even hit the shorts shelf.
I'm still testing this but I think it comes down to their being better shorts within your niche. I had the same problem when pushing Shorts to this Jamie Owers channel, they would increase, get hundreds of views in minutes and then die. I believe it was because RUclips tested the Short by placing it in the Short shelf, quickly reviewed the data and the algorithm realised it was better to push someone else's video than mine. Take the time to look at why your best shorts did well and experiment, change up the length , editing style, titles etc. Play about until something works. The only reason I knew Shorts would work on this channel in this style was because I tried it on another channel before after experimenting.
I also just had a look through your channel. You have animal shorts but upload long-form gaming videos. Those are 2 completely different audiences. I recommend picking one or the other, not both.
@@JamieOwers Yeah the views are so inconsistent, as for the gaming videos I just kept them because they add more views and watch time, do you think I should private them? Thanks!
@@JamieOwers also to add the quality is weird, I took the funniest clips from the most viral shorts for the funny animals and it didn’t perform well I guess it’s just luck in this niche?
@@45s They might add more views and watch time but the audience they're targetting is not the audience you're targetting with the new videos. They're subscribing for gaming content and all of the sudden get animal videos, they're not going to convert and RUclips will see that. A rule I have when starting a new channel for myself is to stick to one subject. Even with the gaming channels, they're one type of genre or one specific title. It gets complicated when trying to link multiple audiences with different interests

@@souhaybk2854 Tbh, it doesn't make much of a difference, both options require you to start fresh. Personally I would stick with the old one, if you have subscribers and watchtime, it puts you a bit closer to the goal but when you push your first lot of videos, expect to go negative for subsrciber growth at the beginning. Once you've uploaded enough videos to focus on coding, unlist the previous videos but don't delete them. Deleting them will remove all watch time

How do you find scriptwriter this cheap
They deliver good scripts too
You can find scriptwriters on Fiverr & Upwork. You just need to write out a 1-page document highlighting how you want the script laid out. This is how I get most of my scriptwriters. I was fortunate enough to already have an audience for this channel so I did post in the community tab and Discord server looking for a scriptwriter where I had a few responses.
I checked your game channel and this is how you can grow faster. I got 100 000 + impressions every day because of this strategy and it cost me nothing.
1. You just need to make polls with pictures on your community tab. Do not forget to create a hook question for this poll.
2. If the viewer votes for your poll RUclips will show him more of your videos.
3. The most important part is that 20% of people who saw your post are new people who even don`t watch your channel. 80% are the old subs who will return to your channel
4. The icing on the cake is that RUclips promotes your post from the community even in the notification for everyone.
5. You can watch practical examples about the community on the Brother Foller channel. By the way, this channel grew from 0 to 80 MILLION views less in a Year
Thanks. I will give it a try once I'm back on top of everything with all channels. I'm in the process of outsourcing my final 2 channels, once that's done I can start to experiment more and I will definitely give this a go. Thanks
