DESCRIPTION
In The Surge, CNNBC reporter Lyle Callahan braves the streets of Los Angeles hoping to capture gruesome footage of Americans tearing each other apart during the government's 12-hour purge. But Lyle is sorely disappointed to discover that when there are no regulations, lemonade stands pop up, prescription drug prices plummet, and homeowners can safely add a sunroom without spending thousands of dollars in permits and inspections. Never mind reality, though. Lyle is determined to let CNNBC's viewers know just how horrible everything really is.
