Help... I bought myself one of these Sept 2024 struggled with the makers directions so left it on the counter top doing nothing.. it's now refilled and ready and I fancied a hot chocolate and set everything as per utube but nothing is happening the light is lit for the mug but after 15mins nothing is happening.

I couldnt get it to do the water cycles at first. Pressing the button would do nothing. Turned out that the water tank didnt think it was in properly, but there was no warning for this. Re-inserting the water tank fixed the issue.

Thanks for the Video. Bought this machine 3 days ago....made everything like in the video. After preparing 2 drinks the machine does nothing. The light is on...disc in the machine...press the button and nothing happens.. Also with the service disc.....nothing happens. Do you have any ideas?

I have just brought one we made are first cup that was fine now it will only make half a cup. Also we noticed it’s not using all the coffee in the pod and ideas.

Mine makes a loud tapping noise when it's brewing....

Thanks for the Video. Bought this machine 3 days ago....made everything like in the video. After preparing 2 drinks the machine does nothing. The light is on...disc in the machine...press the button and nothing happens..

If the appliance is not working and none of the display elements are lighting. Then the appliance has no power supply. Try plugging it into another socket.
If one of the lamps lights up but you still cannot make coffee, then clean the T DISC reading window with a soft, damp cloth.
After this your coffee machine does not work again? then, unfortunately, your coffee machine is broken.
In that case, it is best to contact the seller to replace your coffee machine.

Why is it when I put a regular americano pod in and press the button it only fills the mug like a quarter way
The Tassimo machine reads the barcode on the pod to determine the correct amount of water. If it's only filling a quarter of the mug, try this: before the brewing stops, press and hold the start button until it reaches your desired amount, then release the button.
It filled mine 3/4 with some room to add milk/cream should you require. Unless of course you bought espresso pods (?) even so just add more hot water or hold the button longer

How often should I be descaling and cleaning the machine if it’s just for home use so like 1 coffee made a day max 2 ?
The manufacturer recommends that you need to descale your TASSIMO machine approximately 4 times per year, depending on how often you use it.
Or you can also wait until the red light on the coffee machine comes on.
As for just cleaning, I clean mine once a week.

I have just brought one we made are first cup that was fine now it will only make half a cup. Also we noticed it’s not using all the coffee in the pod and ideas.
Different coffee types have different serving sizes, for example, espresso is typically around 50ml while a latte can be around 360ml. The machine reads the barcode on the capsule and dispenses the appropriate amount of water accordingly. As for the leftover coffee in the pod, this is normal. For instance, with espresso, the hot water passes through the powder to extract the coffee, leaving some residue behind in the capsule. If you'd like to adjust the amount of coffee dispensed, you can manually stop the flow by pressing and holding the power button until you reach your desired amount, then release the button. For example, I personally love classic ground coffee brewed traditionally, and I wouldn't trade this taste for any other coffee. Tassimo offers many types of coffee, and while there are some I don't like, there are others I enjoy. However, the coffees I don't like might be favorites for someone else. So, it's impossible to answer definitively about taste.

Guys what os the round grey disk in the water tank

For the hot chocolate only for Oreo is needed extra milk. However, I mean in every hot chocolate from Тassimo there is milk in some way..read the composition of each before use, if you do not drink milk.

Given one as a Christmas gift and I have no idea how these machines are beneficial? It’s so complicated to use you end up wasting water and energy, alas have given up and just use a cafetere.
