It’s no secret that being in the entertainment industry is tough on romance and today we’re going to talk about some of the most famous Hollywood marriages to be destroyed by movies. Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton fell in love during Pushing Tin and years later she and Brad Pitt met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Although they would wed, working together on By the Sea wasn’t enough to save their marriage. Then there’s the Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky breakup which took place after Mother! And the infamous Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart debacle that was Snow White and the Huntsman. Thankfully, Ryan Reynolds didn’t let the movie Green Lantern sour him on being a superhero even if it did end the marriage between him and Scarlett Johansson. His co-star Blake Lively ended up calling it quits with Penn Badgley and Ryan and Blake became an item. According to Ben Affleck, he and Jennifer Garner fell in love on the set of Daredevil but they ended up divorced in part due to Ben’s work on the film Gone Girl. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are another couple who met on set and broke up due to filming, in this case the movie Silence.

It's something wrong with the culture if you ask me. You don't know a person after being together for one or two years. So why marry after that short amount of time? I have been with the same guy for 5 years and we still haven't tied the knot, we don't need a ring or show our love in a church to know it's real. But I do see why it's benefiting to get married when you share assets, like a house or a company.

Imo, it's definitely much harder to date when you work in showbiz, especially when you're an actor. Because part of the job of an actor is to be intimate with various actors on screen too, and that is always a big factor that could always lead to a development of romantic feelings. And humans get very much easily attached. I can only imagine those actors telling themselves to stop feeling anything romantic for a co-star when they're working, but failing to do so sometimes, as much as they want to stay professional all the time. I mean if the chemistry is on, there's always a saying that the heart will want what it wants. No matter what type of situation.

I think sometimes they get so involved with the characters they portray that they believe that is the person they are in love with. Then reality hits as they get to know the real person and find out it isn't real. Also having to portray being in love with someone else other than your spouse and for the spouse to watch that has to be hard. Long distance relationships and not coming home to each other every night has to be hard. Marriage is hard enough without all the added stresses of making it in Hollywood as well as to keep making it in Hollywood. Sad really....

Non celebrities, us, don't have the reputation that follows other celebrities. They are swept away from the start with all the glamour and glitz. They don't have the luxury of having a normal 'get to know you ' period. I don't envy them, it's not all worth the heartache.

Why on earth would you put Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on the front? I truly think that the break up of Scarlet and Ryan was best for both of them, because Ryan eventually found Blake, making both of their lives immensely better, whilst Scarlet realised marriage wasn’t right for her. They both came to good realisations, that would save future heartbreak. I’m happy for them both.

(not being shady, I'm producing a film with the government in my country and you literally have to know your target market like the back of your hand. I even created my channel to get audience insight into character types so I could take that to my investors). That's why Aronsofsky took it so bad. A failure means he might not be able to pay his mortgage in 2 years whereas JLaw can go book a perfume commercial and pay off her bills for the next 5 years.

Rugene Abasolo For Kristen, yeah, especially since she seems to only date women now so I always wonder if she forced herself to believe she was straight, bisexual, finally realized she may be lesbian, or like me is pansexual. But I get NO inkling of him needing a beard. He doesn’t tend to play gay characters, and there have never been paparazzi shots when he was other guys, like you could tell it was just hanging out with his friends. But maybe I missed something.

Scribblebytes I’m an artist, I have studied art history from ancient to modern times. Dali never much any homosexual feelings he might have felt, and mainly while at university. He ended up marrying a woman a bit his senior, and even when they both had affairs, he tended to stick with women - though I think he was simply suppressing quite a bit in a dangerous time and place. There are also speculations about Caravaggio and Leonardo as well.
Other than that role, and pretty much nothing in real life...

As for Rob, we'll never know about him either for sure. As a guy who went to an all boys' high school and worked on sets with 95% male crew, I'll say this: I've been with guys who were supposed to be heterosexual (it's ALWAYS the cinematographers 😂) and the key was co-ordination to avoid being found out. Also, I noticed the "straight" guys were aloof so people assumed they weren't into anyone, let alone me of all people 😂 😂 😂 (sorry, I'm having a party in my head now)! I talk about this kinda stuff in my vlog The Late Flight Show.
As an actor, I've always said "never date anyone in the business". Look at Matt Damon. He got it right. Our job is to lie convincingly. How do you think you're gonna maintain a relationship built on lies, in real life. You can't.
