- Al makes his pit bike debut at Whilton Mill alongside the British Mini Bike Championship. Just as fun as 'big bike' racing without the cost and bullshit. More deets on the bike and series here -44teeth.com/rac...
I actually bought a pit bike when my son was born with the idea of doing this. The problem was I was at least five years too early to use him as an excuse.
Awesome! Thanks for spending the day with us. Looking forward to next time!
Well fancy seeing you here
I think you forgot to send us an invite 😢
Drop me an email: promotions@britishminibikes.com when we host track days we allow the British supermoto championship to test with us, i'll let you know when we have a track day coming up. We can also organise getting you guys over next season for a weekends racing with the BMB
please show more of this criac!! pitbike racing is so much fun and doesn't get enough coverage!! get Baron out on one and dual vlogs the race it would be so entertaining 😝
Love it, i done the KTM Xperience day after your review and absolutely loved it, this might be my next hobby XD
Looks like a great way to spend a weekend, a genuine good laugh!
Wow! That looks proper fun. Great vid Al.
Naa naa naa, can't be dropping a baseline like that without mentioning where the tune came from haha. Any chance you could drop the title.
Awesome vid by the way as normal, well done guys
Minimoto is a great exercise both for on-bike coordination and reflexes. Regularly having some inexpensive fun on a kart track with these little monsters actually made me a better track day rider.
Great stuff! Was a pleasure to rub shoulders with you Al, even if it was only as you were steaming past me! I'll catch you next time...
That looks like so much fun. I wish we had Mini Moto here in SoCal.
there is SO MUCH mini moto in so cal. Look up M1gp and umra
Dam, this is what people need to be investing in, cheap track, cheap bikes, all the fun and competition.
That looks incredibly fun. If only there were tracks like that near me
Haha I'm to fat for this! I get that with everything I try.. Well apart from gurning!
Haha I'm a tad rotund myself!
New chap just started running in our team, 6ft 6 and 17st without leathers and he gets stuck in.
I always see this on motors tv. it looks ace
This looks like so much fun.
That was delightful!
haha the wheelie at the first few seconds, so cute :)
Nice going Al, looks like a whole load of fun :-)
I feel compelled to do this, but remember when I thought mini moto was a good idea after you boys went and proceeded to buckle myself in to the tyres.
Good times!
We run on larger tracks, and so there is decent run off on most of tracks we use
looks like the slide control was in full effect, awesome
Sure looked like good fun man!
Do more of this Al.
I'm building a pit bike SM now for me and a mate to use :) will do a few Trackdays with it and then race next year can't wait looks like fun
Looks like great fun 👍🏍😜
Cracking video Al! I did my first ever supermoto track day at Whilton and second and earlier on this week I just uploaded a vid of one of the sessions. I'm still learning and watching your video has genuinely helped me work out some of the lines, I'll be sure to try them out next time! -- not trying to ploy my channel or anything, but check it out if you fancy, always after constructive criticism
how much fun does that look! wow and very cheap :) what a great way into racing.
where did it all go wrong for Fagan he went from the TT to minibikes haha, great vid guys keep up the good work
thanks for the vid guys! great to see the little bikes getting spanked
Love it, want to try it someday
This looks wicked
Every time I hear panting on a track video it reminds me of my first time doing a track day on my new bone stock 2017 FZ10 (MT10) comming from 2015 R1S 2 years of track days and trying on a Supernaked for the first time, whole video of panting , nothing but panting and panting! Lol
Could someone tell me where and when is the next meeting? Thanks.
Fagan, Master of the one liners
Haha the image of a bunch of grown ass men racing around on pit bikes is hilarious.
It was cool riding with you!! But where was the Baron?!?
Pit bikes are a hell of a lot of fun ;) love mine, can be just as fun as my proper bike :P
Ryan Inis thinking about getting the kurz rt1 140 and registering it as a 125 just for the fun
@@thedogfather-yu2ob would take a SVA approval I think same as a custom bike. Did you ever do it and how did it go?
I NEED TO DO THIS!
that looks like a proper laugh! can chuck them little bikes about a hell of alot!!
I started out doing this, and then got asked to go to redbull Rookies cup,so I got a racing career from doing pitbike racing
so what place did you come?!..
I spy a wild AndyManCam!
that looks like a blast! guessing you cant just rock up on a honda grom and join in?
Do you need a acu for this?
When are you coming again ?
Is there anything like this Australia (Melbourne)??
Yeah I think so. A bloke I know did it but he's a fuckwit so I'm not asking him any details
google to the rescue...
Should've brought this bike to the TT
First day was amazing the following days were painful didn’t realise how unfit I was lol 😂
Can you just rock up on any basic Pitbike, or are there special requirements like size and power?
Mike Kapufftee anything from 50's to 450's
can I put road tyre on standard pitbike dirt wheel?
What Brand were all the different Pit Bikes?
Which cc are you driving?
That looks a right laugh, what's the top speed on those badboys?
With the right gearing we hit over 70mph on a stock 140cc bike
+British Mini Bikes that's mental, is there anywhere near Swansea that runs events do you know?
+Ben WoodHead Teeside Autodrome is where we hit highest speeds. Our calendar: www.britishminibikes.com/2016-championship
. Nothing very close to Swansea unfortunately, but it's free to spectate and camp if you fancy coming to watch for a weekend.
seriously considering getting a pit bike but want to know how available track time is. whilton mill is the closest circuit to me, cant find anything on their website about open practice sessions to practice in my spare time, would you know anything more?
The plan is to open a page with regular track days. There are regular track evenings at whilton mill every Tuesday night during the summer, and stretton (Leicester) do a bike day on the last Sunday of every month. There are also several tracks around the country such as 'Fatcats' that do regular track days for bikes. you could be out on the bike every weekend if you wanted to.
Does anyone know how often races/practice sessions run? As I'm trying to get into the sport with my GF for fun between other track days. Cheers :)
jamesroydavies this track is open every tuesday 5-9
haha, good video - i did a few video's at Whilton Mill - great fun isnt it :-)
Fuck yea that's awesome I'm looking it up now in Australia
Can imagine Baron on one of these. How would he fold his lanky self up LOL

Darian Lewis I know it's probably been sorted by now but maybe it's the head gasket has split between where the cam chain sits and where the cylinder is?
What bike is this?
What bike you riding
What cc bike are u riding?
Think you should race this series this year? Maybe loose a couple pounds first 😉
Why was he racing everyone in quali then getting excited when he overtook someone on the outlap
Is it just me or does the 44tee logo wiggle
so it does.
@44teeth what bike is he riding?
CW Racing 160 Pit bike, CRF110 frame YX160 engine
haha i want a go
That looks like a right laugh. Bet they take it proper serious though!
Yes and no, racing is racing. We have the fastest riders in the UK... But our paddock is all about having a laugh and enjoying being out on the bikes. We are like a big family
In a series like this, if I come and say, hey, I'll do that! Will they go, hey, get on this scale... and ban me if I'm too much of a light weight? :D If not, I could rule the world! Same for gokarting! I could become the champion of the world! :O I'm such a light weight there would not be enough room on a gokart to add extra weight on to it to make it fair! lol
statham on a mini bike lol ( fat jason stathom) everytime i see i giggle to my self R,S,M
What a crack. You do look like the Ant Hill Mob though!
£80 is a bargain
Can't ya punt one of these sausages against ya 125cc gixer, aye mate what say ya?
hai
Lol, these look slow af. Junior Rotax karts would lap you every two minutes.
Anqi Stenning Karts are quicker but they’re so basic and easy to drive zzzzzzzz
For a bike racer a 125 motorcycle is going to teach you a LOT, riding style, technical ability. Confidence in your lean as for speed really.... A 160 supermoto is doing 70-80 flat out. The largest class is a 450cc which would probably be spec able for 100mph if geared right. Niether of these things are actually slow. It's everything that bike racing used to be, light bikes that can be ridden hard with no gadgetry.
how strange. I wouldn't bother
Its a light flickable 160cc 2 stroke supermoto on a tight technical track. What's wrong or strange about racing a 125cc bike?
Labelling it a pit bike is really quite unfair given that the pit bike stereotype is a crap Chinese clone 50cc automatic in a tiny pseudo dirtbkie frame with about 2 hp. These things are capable of 70mph stock in the case of that 160 he was riding which isnt slow in any way in a track like that.
second
It's sounds shit and slow. That needs a KX 85 engine. Then your talking
