Thank you for helping me I passed my test 7/22/2024 it took only 5min the office was really humble. No yes or no answers definition. He only asked for my green. No other documents and I applied as a married and I have kids

Yes you do. I applied with the new form and checked the box to have my status updated and when I took the test I asked the officer and she said you still have to go in person to have your status changed but have to wait at least the 10 days. I know it does not make sense to have it on the application and have people think they are good to go, but it is basically not so. I think they are still trying to get things with the new form worked out.

If you apply after April 1st, 2024 and chose to update, then you don't have to do that. For applicants prior to that, you still have to do it yourself.
What if I already automatically updated my social security on my n-400 application already? Do I still need to go to SSA to prove my citizenship? I kept my name the same no change.

You forgot to mention that if you apply with the new form, you don’t need to go to the Social security office anymore..

I thought the updated N400 includes USCIS to automatically update SS Record.
