Wow, i did it. With the help of your video I was able to enable the remote settings and activate the new remote I purchased from ebay. I now have a working remote that controls the doors and the trunk for my 2015 Ford Pi. Thank you for posting this video.
@@amadopadilla3294 as for the instrument gauge panel I regret trying to change it as I was not able to adjust the mileage and so now I don't have correct mileage showing.
@@revhomer3722 You can use FORScan to correct the miles on the new cluster. The miles on the new cluster must be lower than the miles on the original cluster.

2017 Ford police interceptor utility you have to buy a special key fob that only has the trunk pop option, lock and unlock buttons. Also the fob has to be programmed at a Ford dealership with a special Ford program. When I had a fob programmed the dealer charged me about $85.
That would be a setting in the BCM. In the BCM, click on “module configuration “, and look for the liftgate type. You can toggle between liftgate and trunk.
It had Bluetooth from the factory, if it doesn't have a mic in the headliner then you don't have bluetooth. How I countered this in a 3.5 Taurus ecoboost, I wired in the aux wires from a Ford F-250 and wires a Bluetooth to aux. took the battery out of the transmitter and wired it to an ignition wire so it turned on and off with the ignition
I only have the key blade and an un programmed smart key for the auto start. Do I still need the basic ford 4pad key fob or can I jump straight to programming the smart key fob with auto start capabilities?
@@jd8223 I really don't know, I had a standard key fob that I programmed to the car. I did have to do 2 things, one I bypassed the hood switch under the hood and 2, you have to lock the doors first before it will start. If you don't lock the doors it will act like nothing is happening..

Hi I have a 2017 police utility and I’m looking to upgrade from a key and fob to a flip key fob. I found one on ebay for $18 and already had the key cut. What I’ve found so far is both old and new fobs have the 315MHz 4D63 chip in them. if I activate the remote keyless entry on forscan will i be able to program the new flip key that way or is it more to it?
HELP!!!!! I’ve got a 2015 SE. the interior lights don’t come on when opening doors… also the trunk light doesn’t light up, the PRNDS and steering wheel buttons don’t light up. How can I fix this?? Fuse 12 is fine. Been trying to figure it out with FORScan with no luck!
Police interceptors do not have chips in the keys unless programmed from the factory when the fleet vehicles were ordered. Which I've never seen. You can just get a new key cut by a locksmith
I have a 2013 PIS, not sure if it’s mid or not. I want to try this, but before I buy the adapter, do you think it would work if it’s the early model. Does it have to be equipped with a wireless module or something? I want to be able to have wireless key.

Theses cars have factory built in remote start as well. I got the key on eBay, programmed with FORScan and presto, keyless entry and remote start.

You need a better quality OBD connector. The cheap ones don’t work. Go to the site for the correct type

I’ve been trying for the last couple months and can’t get my key to program. I can get into program mode, but nothing past that.

With forscan turn off dark mode in the body control module as built section
Dark mode is NOT on… so what else is wrong?
@@davidlyons9992 could be a cut wire somewhere to the lights, bulbs could be missing themselves, check all your fuses with a test light.
