If you're a musician then there is a term that you might be familiar with and that is "perfect pitch". I'm a musician and it's a gift you're born with, if you listen to him sing, he hits ALL his notes CLEANLY. Only somebody born with that gift can sing so clearly, the difference accents is evidence of his personal touch in the singing. Trust me people don't understand how talented he is, he also says he plays 7 different musical instruments. Let that skin in
Buju was not forgotten especially not by me because I use to blast his tune the regular and them him sing bout lorna him Browning again. ..love you buju no matter what .naa switch
Majah Hype said in an Radio interview on 96.1 WEFM in Trinidad, that he grew up playing Saxophone in his grandfather's band who wrote CALYPSO for female Calypsonian, Calypso Rose. Trinis write their own Calypso, we write Soca with other Caribbean Artists but not necessarily Calypso and so there we have it. Majah Hype is a Trini, my guess is his grandfather might have been Pal Joey Lewis.
🤣🤣 you're clutching at straws man! stop begging for the man to be a Trini, he's Jamaican, there's plenty interviews online where he says where he's from

Either way who cares it's not a competition to see who has the most famous celebrities 🤣 Boy some people
It's hardly likely people would forget Buju during his lockup. Hits works always preceded him. Therefore, no entertainer input was needed to keep his memory alive.

Not to take away majahype shine but their is an Indian jamaican man that passed away recently with a lovely singing voice and he also does the imitation of other artist and sounds just like them when he sings he was on you tube anyone knows who it was?
He has to be Jamaican. No outsider can mimic the accents so good without growing up there. He nails the ghetto city gyal accent and the country bush man accent.
Yes all of this but why Maja hype refuse to say where he is from. I guess he is American but because he was a selector and he was amongst all the yardies and other people from other island so that's how he is able to perfect his craft. Definitely talented but I knew he was not a yardie.
