the 1100 came with a 11hp briggs from the factory that was blown up when I got it so I swapped in a 8hp kohler. The peerless trans than took a shit so I put a 3 speed trans out of a 128 in it. The 8hp kohler wasn't very good in the HP department so I put a 12hp kohler in it (k301) so yes it was essentially a 1200 because it had a k301 and a IH 3 speed trans in it.

but an 1100 runs a 7 hp 1200 has a 12 hp. so changin the trans does not make it a 1200
