You're not kidding Matty, but my problem is that over here I don't have much else to do and I'm not the sort of person who can just sit around and do nothing. Thanks for watching. 👍

Thanks for sharing another great video. I definitely want to build one of these someday if my health will allow it. My heart doesn't let me do much of anything anymore other than sit and watch RUclips videos and wish. The Drs have not been any help at all. All they think about is feeding me more pills. I'm 76 years old and just want to be in my shop. Hope to see the steam engine project in the future but enjoy your retirement first. Life is too short to work so many hours every day.

I agree, if you don't have your health then you have nothing. Thanks for watching. 👍

The adjustable height tailstock would be good for other tools that you may have with different center heights. In that case you just need the one tailstock which will work with everything.
Looks like you have been in the wars with the bonnet slamming on your wrist, the crazy guy behind you and the hours in the garage. Look after yourself mate.

It didn't half hurt when the bonnet hit me, I have a massive bruise on my other arm now from some blood tests during the week, the nurse had a hard time finding a vein. Thanks for watching. 👍

I cannt wait for the build along steam engine series. Are you going to use blueprints to build from?

The Model Steam Engine - My Way build starts next week, and as per usual I don't have any plans and it will be coming out of my head, based on information I have garnered from others who have built one from a kit. It should be an interesting build as I will be using my own castings. Thanks for watching. 👍

At the 24 minute mark, wouldn't cutting on one side more than the other indicate something flexing?

Possibly, it only seems to happen with these chamfering tools though, it has me beat. Thanks for watching. 👍
