I have been lucky to have seen Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo of Brazil, & Zidane live. They were the best that ever played the game & Zidane was the cream if the group. The best ever in my book.
Wow crazy football there. The pass is very relevant about Zidane skills , he could see 360 degrees on the field, always seeing the solution even when it’s back his head, and always he pushes the ball in free space for his partner, showing the way to go, and creating this defense breakthrough to make the difference for the entire team. This, because he has the best right foot ever for ball control, on earth or in air. What a footballer he was !
I'm watching this and quickly re-evaluating who I believe to be the greatest player of all time. I do remember Zizi as a child but wasn't old enough to have the brief moments I saw him sketched into my memory. I wish I could have seen him at his peak as an adult.
I feel sorry for the kids today who never saw this era of football, they think the likes of foden, haaland, saka etc are world class, nah this is is what world class looks like. So many good players around at this time, zidane, R9, Ronaldinho, Henry, Roberto Carlos, maldini, baggio, bergkamp, you could list a 100 players + who were genuine world class talent and a joy to watch, now i'd struggle to list 10
Shame the picture quality doesn't match the great mans talent. He treated every real game like he was on the training ground, outrageous flicks, tricks and passing on any level shows the genius of the guy!! You don't learn that it is natural talent. One of the greatest ever to play the game we call football...
Best highlight video I've seeen on Zidane. Not a single flashy pirouette or goal -- just his passing and control, which is really what made him so good. And lots of his best years too (Juventus). Well done.
You know I found it hard to believe how he casually give those magnificent passes, I mean this is mind blowing I've not seen this version of zidane. Even modric and de bruyne didn't come close
The biggest difference between zidane and ronaldinho is that every week when Ronaldinho taught the world a new trick, every child tried to copy him. However, when Zidane performed it, it appeared even more natural and effortless, which is why we do not see anyone attempting to do it anymore because these things happen and you cannot practice.
👍👍👍👍💪💪💪SUPER,SUPER,SUPER. Как же можно видя эту красоту, эти необычные ассисты, эту скорость мышления, интелект, на эти выходы с трудных положений, и кого-то сравнить с величайшим Зиданом? Нет никого такого уровня. Это космос.
Astonishing awareness of where his team mates are, and, of course, extraordinary skills. So many outstanding p[asses but the one at 1.10 is remarkable. I have been a saying that R9 is the best gifted player who has ever played this game but when I watched Zidane I changed my mind and Zizo is the most elegant and the best to ever play this game simply a genius
It took 50 years to find someone able to equal Pelé with Mbappé! Don't take it from me, it's Pelé himself who said it before or after the World Cup 2018 (don't remember exactly). Zidane was unique because of his abilities and his size. Messi, Maradona are both great attacking midfileders but they were/are small which help them a lot in their game. Both can't score with their head.
People really comparing Jude Bellingham to this man because he's scored some goals for Madrid. Zizou was a transcendent player. He did things we'll never see again. Improvisation and ingenuity that just can't be recreated. Football isn't just about scoring goals. It's an art and way of life that inspires and lifts your soul on a Saturday morning. The only one with a better of same level ass Zidane was Maradona in his Napoli time en Messi
Who said that?
Zidane- The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. He truly is the king.

Bret 'Hit Man'' Hart
This dude was the most complete football player of all times in my opinion. Yes Messi and C. Ronaldo had some offensive skills not seen before. But Zidane had it all.
Facts...it's crazy to see people compare iniesta and xavi to him😂 look at those tight spaces and the kind of passes he drops😢😢it's godlike ,no player does it like this
Ladies and gentlemen, behold the greatest midfielder that ever laced a pair of football boots.
What a video. NOONE is able to do this nowadays. He had eyes in the back of his head, timing and technique.
also kudos to his teammates for understanding what the hell was going on...
He the most elegant player in football history
Bro casually distributing through balls from blind spots 🥶 legendary vision
The only one with a better of same level “vision and impeccable pass” as Zidane was Maradona in his Napoli time, Andrés Iniesta in his prime en Messi then and now.
@@donsandrano1429both of the players you mentioned had much better vision than zidane
2:06 my God... what kind of vision he had?? that was brilliant...
Zinedine Zidane Best of the Best 😎
This is possible when your skill matches your brain and you can do what ever you f.... want :D
Zizu was not just a footballer, he was an artist, pure elegance. Try watching this video on mute but with mozart playing in the background instead and you'll understand exactly what I mean😅😅😅
Zidane for France > Zidane for Juventus > Zidane for Real Madrid.
U can’t coach talent like this, it’s a gift from from the almighty
So mesmerizing to watch how delicate he is to put the perfect amount of weight on the ball. This level of creativity and skill in football nowadays is extinct. A modern world class player compared to 15-20 years ago was average or slightly below average then…
Zidane is a legend, but your second half of this comment is very narrow minded. You think De Bruyne wouldn't be good in the 2000s?
@@pascalg16Yes for sure but he doesnt have the élégance of Zidane sorry. Zidane played with a level nonchalante really insane level
The only one with a better of same level “vision and impeccable pass” as Zidane was Maradona in his Napoli time, Andrés Iniesta in his prime en Messi then and now.
@@donsandrano1429 What about Pirlo, Xavi.
@@donsandrano1429You are completely wrong, not even Maradona stood out as much in Italy as Lothar Matthäus did. What's more, Lothar in Inter and Van Basten's Milan completely overshadowed Maradona during his stay in Italy
Unique. One of my all-time favorite players. Saw the game differently
I used to watch La Juve when young, and I think I remember there was a half bald guy that I was not paying attention to,he was ravaging the whole field. But I was young and follow usually the famous scorers especially whith some hair style. I completely overlooked him. I only noticed him late, when everyone did anyway with France team, with Madrid ... What a legend. As if the football was made and created for him and him only! Of course Maradona, Pele, ... are giants, but Zizou is the best of all times!
I’ve watching football since the 80s and I cam tell you Zidane and Riquelme are the only footballers that I’ve seen completely take over matches.
Amazing as i havent seen some of these clips and my son is named Zidane great find.He is class meets imagination meets skill
I named my son Zinidine
O melhor jogador de todos os tempos, de todas as galáxias...
Concordo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sì!
Да точно. Согласен
Class, elegance, an absolute master. Loved watching him play.
I find it hard to believe but it seems that football has really deteriorated in quality over time
Best highlight video I've seeen on Zidane. Not a single flashy pirouette or goal -- just his passing and control, which is really what made him so good. And lots of his best years too (Juventus). Well done.
You know I found it hard to believe how he casually give those magnificent passes, I mean this is mind blowing I've not seen this version of zidane. Even modric and de bruyne didn't come close
majestic 👌🏼
Been watching football for 60 years and imo Zidane is the greatest of them all. . . and there have been many brilliant footballers during that period . .
Messi and ronaldo score a lot,but I would rather watch Zidane and Ronaldinho all day
I have been a saying that R9 is the best gifted player who has ever played this game but when I watched Zidane I changed my mind and Zizo is the most elegant and the best to ever play this game simply a genius
He is one in a million kind of talent. It will take a very very long time to find a similar midfielder.
I don't know how one can acomplish more in a given sport discipline than this dude. He has it all and he won all.
Definition of passing being more efficient than dribbling. World class player with eyes in the back of his head 😅
He will always be the GOAT to me.
Bellingham has just started his career, he has a long way to go.
But to say, Zidane will "always be" isn't right as well. There's a good possibility that someone can do things better.
My comment literally says "to me". But carry on thinking he will ever be close. @@TheJwwinter
@@FullVenomJacket You posted on a public site so expect replies. Saying "always" is not very bright unless you know the future.
Nah you just can't read. My post says it's my opinion. But carry on thinking Jude will ever be close to Zidane If you don't understand the difference between Zidane and other players I can't help you. @@TheJwwinter
@@FullVenomJacket You just don't get anything. Whatever anyone says is their opinion, you don't have to explicitly say that.
I never said Jude is or will be close to Zidane, I don't know. But saying Zidane will always be the goat implies no one ever will be as good as him and that's stupid.
He does with his legs what we do wit our hands. Blaz uyu akatongozvipengerwawo zvako. Sometimes instead of applauding him you just end up laughing and shaking you head in laughter and end up asking. Is this guy normal. I think we need a documentary on him just we have/need one for Pele, Ali, Bob Marley etc. Thanks a lot to the guy who compiled the genius at work in his office kkkk
Elegant + Maestro + Intelligent and so on .....
The only one with a better of same level “vision and impeccable pass” as Zidane was Maradona in his Napoli time, Andrés Iniesta in his prime en Messi then and now.
Amazing control, precision and creativity, the Magic Johnson or Jason William of football !
Elegant playing style, impeccable technique and vision. Zizou was pure class
The only one with a better of same level ass Zidane was Maradona in his Napoli time en Messi
@@donsandrano1429 I wish could watch Maradona but Messi is also pure class and genius. Also I can add 2002 Ronaldo Nazario. He was out of this world
This is why Zidane is the best player ever for me not only the best midfield
Zidane made football an art
Touch straight from heaven! Never tired of watching ZZ comps
Absolute and quite unique genius...
OOFFF this has to be one of my favourite football videos on RUclips, thank you!!
He has to be the most graceful footballer ever, headbutting aside, he had a nasty streak , but the passing and the movement on the ball are all spot on.
Messi and Ronaldo are explosive when they run a game , but Zidane was like artwork , when Zidane ran the game nobody could quite work out how he did it.
Second to none, has anyone perfected the slice as well as Zidane? Such a magician with the ball at his feet.
...that long distance pass @3:50 to Ronaldo was magnificent . If Zidane was at the receiving end, no doubt in my mind he would have scored the goal.
Pure genius! The greatest playmaker in football history!
Zidane was that awkward kid at the football field that you underestimated and kept blowing yuh mind with crazy unreal gameplay

1:56 - this might be one of the most outrageous things I've ever seen on a football pitch. That is just out. Rageous.
unpopular opinion but prime zidane was juve zidane
Ziodane was the incarnation of ONE touch football.
Nobody else can do what he could do. Not even Messi.
Incomparable 👏👏
I already watched another video of Zizou earlier today and watching this now I had enough joy for today feel soo relaxed now 🤩
I'm starting to think zizou is the Goat of football 🤔
He is
he had so much , very tall as well , both footed, amazing technique, truly a one off
To me, best of all times, full stop.
Thanks for making this, lots of clips I’ve never seen before

So many passes that I have never seen before! Thanks!
