Let me to remember to Freddie with the words of Dave Clark's: "Freddie was very dear, thoughtful and noble. In his private life he was the real opposite of that provoking star. He was very considerate. His nobleness wasn't directed only towards his friends and co- workers, unknown people have also often profited from it. He loved common, normal people. On the stage he was dazzling, arrogant, provoking, but he was very, very human in private life."
Thankyou for this, I’ve seen it many times but still I sit here crying like a baby, this band means so much to me & millions still. RIP Freddie you still bring us joy 🤩.
So great to follow you...Brazil suffered of 20 years of military dictature till 1985...so dangerous to tour in this country at that time....hugs from France
I’m so grateful to have you follow me,thanks for all the great feedback and insight. 🚀💛

Such an awesome respectful reaction, thank you for your interest, passion & appreciation ❤
Love Freddie & fans 😊
Thank you so much, this really gave me another level of admiration and respect for Freddie and Queen🚀💛
I think it's incredible when they talk about the tour in Argentina, it was an achievement of great courage on the part of the band, especially since anyone who read Peter Freestone's book knows how much the band was being threatened at the time, especially Freddie who already needed police guard in his apartment. In the mini documentary that accompanies the show in Argentina (available on RUclips in good quality) Brian is asked if they weren't afraid after what happened with John Lenon, and he answers with great courage that they weren't and would take their music to everyone places
Thanks for your reaction! I want to add a few words about John Deacon. His father died when John was eleven years old, and this deeply traumatized him. When John joined the group, he was the youngest of the all and a little shy, so Freddie took him under his wing and protect him like brother. When Freddie died (at about the same age as John's father) John was absolutely broken. John himself famously said: "There is no point carrying on. It is impossible to replace Freddie." In 1997, John decided to leave the music business and lead a completely private life with his family (wife and six children). John still has financial involvement with the band since Queen royalties are split four ways between the three surviving members and Freddie Mercury's beneficiaries. Brian May confirmed they keep Deacon informed of any plans or developments but he never replies...
🚀💛
this group was a king of magic for sure...
There's also a movie about last years of Freddie Mercury: "The Freddie Mercury Story Who Wants To Live Forever".
Personally I think he best performance in Tribute concert was "Somebody to Love" by Gorge Michael. Also you should check tribute song written by Brian May "No One But You (Only The Good Die Young)".
OMG! Freddie we missed you. You're gone but never forgotten. It was Roger and Brian go solo first. Freddie is the last, doing the barcelona. They're also encounter problem just like family and manage to settle the concern. They love each other as brothers. Especially when Freddie is sick. They become closer. The media worsen the situation of Freddie. But even he is sick,, he still protect the band, friends and family. He is brave and a man with great character. A person with a heart of gold. Queen is the best band ever ♥️👑👑🎹🥁🎸🎼🎶👑👑♥️
Seeing such a strong person like Roger Taylor hold back the tears really hits home 😢😢 always gets me
Hey there, I was going to suggest the rainbow concert to you, it’s very early Queen, very young boy’s, great concert with such joy and enthusiasm for what they were trying to do. I think it’s 74. Great concert 🎵 love you too so it next. X❤
I ment do it next. 😂not so.
Roger and Brian made their own records as well. Some good ones too.
you should listen to the last album which Queen completed after freddies death. it is so moving and beautiful and a song brian wrote called Only the good die young, omg, i cried. its so beautiful.
I’ll definitely check this out and share, great suggestion 🚀💛
Freddie recorded the vocals for Mother Love about two weeks before filming the These are the Days of Our Lives video. Hard to belive him being able to hit those notes in that condition.
I know, he is the true definition of “the show must go on” 🚀👑
My God, I remember very well the night, then aged 22, listening to BBC radio at night, which I still could caught on the sunny side of the Alps. When it was reported that he had died, I cried like rain. And every time I watch interviews or videos, a tear comes to my eyes. How great are the people who reach so deep into our hearts and stay forever. Pluto. thanks for bringing me to tears again with videos you posted on your channel.
There is a book by Peter Hince called Queen Unseen he was Freddie’s roadie…..you will love it! Please read it❤️🎼❤️🎼❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks Linda, I’m definitely going to check this out!! 🚀💛
I’m an old Queenie who grew up with the boys!🎼❤️🎼🇬🇧
During that brake Brian did star fleet
Roger worked on his second solo album
Freddie started on his first
Now, after watching this documentary, please at some point react to one (or some) compilations of Freddie's funniest moments ❤
Great suggestion, coming soon!! 🚀💛
I do hope someone remakes this documentary at some point, there is such a lot of nonsense in this second part of this documentary, which is a shame. It is a very one sided view on some of these events. Roger and Brian's solo projects are mentioned as these positive side projects. While they are critical of Freddie's side project that did a lot better their their side projects. Freddie's album reached no.5 in the UK. It did have a no.1 hit and a top 10 hit (a few years later but the material was always there). Freddie never promoted this album much, he said he wasn't ever going to perform these songs live. This was a project for Freddie to record songs he could not record with Queen.
They completely ignore Freddie's second solo album which was a hit and a very revolutionary project. and it is completely ignored so that they can minimize Freddie's solo work.
And then there is Hot Space, of course the album wasn't liked much at the time by some people, but it was really an album ahead of it's time. It partly inspired Michael Jackson to create Thriller. Michael Jackson said he was constantly listening to Hot Space while recording Thriller. John Deacon also really liked funk and R&B, which is not strange for a bass player. Funk is a lot of fun to play for a bass player. Both Freddie and John liked this type of music. Hot Space not was popular at the time, but it is Queen's 5th best selling album now. New Queen fans who know nothing of this bias, do tend to like the album a lot. Even recently the song Cool Cat became quite popular. So people are still enjoying Hot Space as a fresh sound even today. And of course this idea that Queen were so far apart before Live Aid, is completely incorrect, The Works album was also a huge hit for Queen a year before Live Aid.
This is why the Bohemian Rhapsody movie was so inaccurate, they were following a lot of ideas from this documentary.
Hello Pluto, explaining why people always confuse things: It wasn't dangerous for Queen to be in Brazil in 1981! The dictatorship in Brazil was different from the dictatorship in Argentina, in Brazil the dictatorship was veiled, people were kidnapped in the middle of the night, in Argentina there was practically a civil war, so getting in and out of places could be dangerous at the time. There is a certain confusion about the history of Brazil and Argentina just because they are Latin countries , this documentary is great but it fails a little in this differentiation
Obrigada por falar isso, pelo que me lembro todos os shows do Queen no Brasil foram sem problemas, a nossa ditadura foi terrível para nós, mas o governo disfarçava muito bem e estrangeiros não encontrariam problemas
Wow thank you sooo much friend, this is great information!! Ok I got it, so it wasn’t towards Queen specifically, it was just dangerous in that country overall, at that time.
I am so sorry to hear that was happening back then in Brazil, I am so glad it is better now.
..decide to come back together
It was never a brake up so no set back together
They were doing albums every 2 years since 78
Mainly due to Freddie being being burnt out vically there was literally barely any time off it was constant
At the begining of their 78/79 tour Freddie said they must have a proper brake when it ended but went straight to the studio!
After hot space there was a lot of tension so they had to have a brake
But due to some planned events having to be cancelled it ended longer than they planned
Please.... watch the Live Aid performance! It's the best performance I've seen (I watched live) to date ❤
Those funds fed so many in Africa.
Hi there! Very nicely done. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks for doing this! For some reason it is just coming up in my feed on YT. You really need to do the concert live at the Rainbow and the one at Wembley in 1986. They are amazing and you will hear songs that have not been covered yet. Thank you for all your reactions!
They literally tell you everything you need to know. They all had solo work, they did their stuff and came back in 83/84. Paul Prenter was a bad influence on Freddie and Freddie eventually got rid, Paul Prenter then sold him out.
Theu can't include everything, the documentary would be about 10 hours long.
please review the Show must go on, Queen and Adam Lambert. It brings the story up to date and Freddie would be so proud. You will enjoy it i think.
I’ll definitely check this out soon 🚀💛
Great raction! Thank You!❤
Thank youuuu🚀💛
The video for living on my own was banned it charted very low
After Freddie death no more brothers did a remix
They trimmed and obscured the video and went to no1
Unfortunately through that it lost quite a bit of Freddies scatting which I liked
Personally the remix feels flat to me
It wasn't his vision for the song but it wasn't altered too much and became a hit so Im glad for that
Wow great insight, thank you for sharing! 🚀💛
Edit
Felt flat to me because they took something i liked
Not because it wasn't good!
😢😢😢😢😢😢
I know so emotional 😥🚀💛
Hot space wasnt as popular but it was still no 4 uk
They do talk as if it didnt chart!
Everyones aiming for no 1 but many bands would wish their album was no 4!
They just didn't work well together on this album
Under pressure was no 1 uk
Body language was no 11 US
great react thank you!!
💜🤴🏻
Brian looks so damn smug about Freddie album
His and Brians first solo album charted exactly the same in uk and us!
Didnt benefit financialy ha ha
Freddie didnt promote his album
Brian promoted his and did a full tour for it
He debuted his single at Freddies tribute
I think people thought it was for the charity
It was released a few months later
His other single that did well was a full version of a song he wrote for a ford advert
Im sure Freddie was disappointed it didnt do better
83 he was with winnie from munich they were together 2/3 years?
Bro u need to take some time to understand the historic context of that documentary. How was politics in South America in the early 80s, how did AIDS started and when and so on. Thats just a little bit of research on Wikipedia. I like you but in this video you do seem kinda ignorant at times.
Thanks for taking your time to watch me react to Queen. You could have literally used your time to do anything else. But you decided to watch my video, and comment! Wow, thank you! You must have really loved it🚀💛
@@PlutoPlease absolutely love seeing ur journey falling in love with Queen. They are the best and will never be matched
Thank you, keep watching but keep it cute 😁😉🚀💛
@@PlutoPlease what does cute mean in that context? I only gave u some objective criticism or is that already to much?
