It was very easy. An extra set of hands helps. Good luck and thanks for watching!

As for the steering linkage did you have to swap the pathfinder style out for a 2wd hardbody linkage? My pathfinder column has a different steering linkage than my 2wd stock one.

Unless your column was from a 2wd pathfinder, then I assume the linkages were the same.

So that is a great question. For me, I did have to swap the lower part of the steering linkage or “shaft”. Just passed the swivel / rubber mount bushing. There are two choices of lengths, long or short. The short one is for power steering, the long one is if you have manual steering or no power steering. When I did the swap, the Pathfinder steering column came equipped with a power steering short linkage. I simply took that off and replaced it with the long one from the steering column I removed. Later on, I added power steering, and I simply swapped that longer shaft with the short one.
Here in the very near future, I’m going to shoot an update. Would you like me to shoot a video showing the different linkages?
Thank you very much for watching! I really appreciate it. Like always if you ever have any questions, I’ll be more than happy to try and help out where I can.

@@jolede029 My column was out of a 4wd pathfinder with power steering, the d21 I installed it in is a 95 2wd with power steering. I could not figure out any combination of the linkages I had would work. I have 3 other 4wd steering columns laying around and couldn’t get any of them to work as the 4wd has the rag joint at the top of the linkage as the 2wd rag joint is near the bottom at the steering gear. My solution was primitive at best, I ended up cutting the 2wd spline u joint and welding it on the 4wd column. It seems to function fine in my mock-up currently. So hopefully It hold up. I will make a little video and post it on my channel comparing the 2

@@jolede029Yes I actually made a video on it and I believe it’s on my channel. I ended up cutting the end of 2wd shaft and welded it onto the pathfinder column.

Bucket seats would almost do the same. I have a standard cab and am 6"3'

Hello, I agree 100%. I am not sure what or if I’m going to change out the seat. I do want to tho. Even with bucket seats this I think would give flexibility for adjustment. I need to look at bucket seats and see what is out there. Thank you so much for watching.

Hello, I bought this off of eBay for $250 with free shipping. It is from a 94-95 Nissan pathfinder. You really do need an extra person to help align everything. Thank you very much for watching.
