    forme top left is left righ top right is high left high right bottom one is up down depending on how the top right was adjusted

    Hi can u say why dobsonians have cooling fan at one end where the mirror sits.

      It cools the mirror to ambient temp faster

    Lasers are not reliable and I prefer my eyes along with a Cheshire or collimating cap

      I don’t. And the laser than came standard with the AD12 hasn’t hindered perfect collimation. Perhaps you used a laser that itself wasn’t aligned. But don’t come on here and say “lasers aren’t reliable”.

      Agreed, most laser collimators are not precisely aligned, even the 200$ Hotech. I've heard good things about the Howie Glatter lasers but they are expensive. For fast scope under f/5, I would not recommend to rely only on those cheap lasers as we see in the video, unless it has been aligned very precisely before doing it. You must complete it with a Chechire and after that on a star. I know how to do it but good, visual tutorials on star collimation are hard to find.
