- Epic Games has created four truly remarkable maps for Fortnite Battle Royale, and until now no one has appreciated the quality they hold. But I do.
I wrote an analysis on the worlds of Fortnite BR. These maps aren't just good, they're unreal.

What's your favourite POI of each Fortnite chapter?
Flush Factory is my number 1
Chapter 1: Loot Lake/Leaky Lake
Chapter 2: Steamy Stacks
Chapter 3: the condos poi before the chrome turned it into Cloudy Condos
Chapter 4: Faulty Splits I think that’s the name of the poi with the bowling alley in it.
For Chapter 4, it's gotta be Slappy Shores. I always love landing here, great loot, great mats, access to vaults, it's actually the best drop

I can't describe how happy I am to see a video about fortnite that isn't just a streamer screaming at the screen to keep the attention of 5 year olds. Thank you for bringing a level of nuance and thought that's seriously lacking in the world of fortnite RUclips ❤
Really the only problem I have with Fortnite's maps is that we can only play in them for some time and that we won't experience previous POIs or maps again. I really wonder how I would perform in Hunter's Haven or Frenzy Fields after all these years.

Not many people speak about how much work is put into the Fortnite map. So glad someone actually is!!
If Fortnite added Klombos, Tornados and Thunderstorms again it would make this game A LOT better.

Fortnite is so underrated in my opinion, not just the map but as I game as a whole. Epic's hard work as compared to other game always gets overlooked by Fortnite kid stereotypes and stuff.
so many people hate on it and say only little kids play it but I think it has evolved in an amazing way, is extremely immersive and fun with great POIs. I also played in chapter 1 and while it was amazing I also think its just as good now.
@@claudeheinrich3613 EXACTLY, Maybe it isn't as exciting as people used to find it. But it is not a bad game by any means.
even though I do like the old cartoonish art style more, with the weird and unrealistic shapes in cars and buildings, it gave it a cosy vibe. Also the lighting, the sunsets looked so beautiful, I even would liked to live there.@@The_UnknownKing-BlimpBosses
11:35 If you actually look into Apex’s storyline, it makes sense why the maps are more like arenas than anything else. It’s intended to be this way, since Apex’s story revolves around a death game, and each map is a different arena for the death game to be hosted on. I didn’t know whether you knew this, so I’m just pointing it out.
Broken Moon is supposed to be a map that genuinely had people and a thriving community before it was turned into an arena, yet the map still feels dry. Every house that people lived in are made of the same few layouts with the same family in every picture. This isn’t just a Broken Moon problem either. Every map has the same copy & paste building, just in a different theme.
If they had upgraded to UE5 and made the maps more vibrant with more terrain and ambience to them, then they’d feel so much better.
@@stanloonaguys_ I completely forgot about Broken Moon, and you’re right. Apex maps do feel too dull, especially when compared to how they look in the cinematic trailers.

Out of my 5 years of playing Fortnite, I have always liked the map, even during hated seasons like primal and wilds!

I agree that Fortnite has done exceptionally with unique maps. However, I hope they revert to their chapter 2 art style next chapter because this new style is pushing away from the “Fortnite look” but is still cool. The chapter 5 graphics fade away the fun, cartoony, just here to play vibes that chapter 2 had. It was fun, not dead as a door nail serious. I Hope they find ways to bring it back into the style and make something like chapter 2 with what epic has learned now too.

About the maps, to me, chapter 2 felt the most "balanced" map of all of them.
Sadly it lacked changes through the seasons, and cool changes lasted only for a season. BUT i didnt mind it being "flat".
All maps have had it ups and downs, but CH2 will always be my favorite 🥰

then amazingly now in chapter 5 EVERY POI feels almost identical thanks to the entire map being themed in exactly the same way and it sucks. hopefully they add location diversity as the seasons go on.

Been playing the game for 5 years, haven’t uninstalled out of anger or boredom once. Yeah, I’ll take breaks but every season I’ll still hop on have genuine fun.

In all fairness, the tournament that Japko and Remedy won was not an official tournament.
the only map that didnt really have new "graphics" or lighting was chapter 3, which honestly makes so much sense since it was just chapter 2 but FLIPPED.
For me, everything about Chapter 4, besides some very small wins, feels boring and uninteresting. It's been the least fun I've had in Fortnite, ever. Chapter 3 ending so early was such a big loss.
I feel the same, of cpurse ive had some fun, but chapter 4 have been pretty boring. CH4 season 4 have been alright so far, but last season, jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiz
No hate but overwatch is kinda overrated. Because they added new characters to it but they got rid of storyline mode for it and other stuff. Also the video was really good.
