I been to Nick's a few times. Extremely good pizza. More like 9.0-9.2.
It doesn't stop there though, the Salad and Cannolis are amazing.
Probably hit lower since it was in the box for however long
The reason it isn't a 9 is just for the fact of the kind of cheese pizza it is. The crust is awesome only had it once.
Got married in 94, lived in Forest Hills and went to Nick's often.. absolutely!! My wife and I split a pie, a salad and a cannoli..best meal ever
@Jcream101 Yep. Think it is a great pizza. I think that is the highest score for a margherita pizza he has given. I could be wrong. That crust had me drooling. Like he said love the ash on my fingers. I would have gave it a higher 8.

I would like to mention that due to these videos, I went to Sallys last weekend. I don't even live in CT so was like a whole day event. Waited outside for them to open. Best pizza I ever had. Dave is spot on. Thanks Dave!
Sally's is great, except no dishes and coffee napkins. Also, the meatball is made out of some meat that is not beef, pork, veal, or poultry. Just sayin'... The sausage is the bomb. If you go back to NH, go to Modern. New Haveners will tell you that Modern is better than Sally's and Pepe's, but they're all good.
There are certain reviews that make me think that Dave knows what he's talking about with pizza (Sally's being one of them) and that's why the recent string of crap reviews (playing to the crowd etc.) really disappoints me.
@@sundarpichai940 There are some that I can't believe, like one in Boston a month or so ago. It looked bad for a frozen pizza. But, the places that I've actually been to that Dave has I have agreed with.
Sallys is my number one. Try Pepe's next time and then walk down the street to Libby's and have a cannoli.

I’m glad you finally got out here to Nicks, I had also recommended you check it out in one of my prior comments. You rated it pretty much were I expected you to based on your other reviews. The pizza does cool down quickly once it comes out of the oven and into the box, the hotter / fresher it is the better. Nicks has always produced a sold and consistent pizza that’s always great.

I'm from south jersey and I love the pizza in my area but I've never really thought he would try any of the places near me and give them that great of a rating but a couple weeks ago I tried Nick's in cinniminson new Jersey and I've been there 2 other times since and he should definitely go there. Best pizza I've had in jersey.

I agree with what the other guy says, it reminds me of Lombari's as well, it's a little different type of pizza. More for a meal than just getting a slice because you're hungry. Nick's is the best of that type of pizza.
