Yes - need to put a lid on that. I suppose you could stack a layer on top (put a tray under so they don't drop feces) and you could rotate the rabbits. One week they have grass. Next week they are on top bunk.
It's my understanding that mature does will fight and the alpha will somehow sterilize the other does. Plus if I have a buck in there I don't really want continuous rabbits 24/7/12
I can see this working with a couple of misgivings. Rabbits can easily jump those side fences, It looks like direct sun on a nice day may force those rabbits to head for shade and thus finish up in the middle. I do not think your rabbits can escape and really wont jump out as long as they are moved. The 'middle bit'... looks like they can be moved sideways as well as back and forth. I have never done this but I can see merit. Anyways, we never ever really know till we f**k by our own selves... Cheers..

the ol'ms and I do occasional yard sales and lots of thrift stores. why are you separating the rabbits? and who gets the middle?
