gotta love that petzl id!
This terrifies me just watching.....I would have a panic attack
I’m surprised the rope went through so easy. I’ve had to push the rope to move with the weight of a long rope making it drag.
So do the blue and red ropes just get left there until the next climber gets on the pole? Seems like if they were potentially left there for weeks or months or maybe even years they would get all tangled up with the components installed on the pole.
Decent ropes are typically only left up top for the duration of the job, most of the time they’ll take the load rope down at the end of each day.
The life safety ropes used are only rigged during the duration of the project.
@@a.j.demeat6167how do you get the ropes up there
How do you disassemble the rope when you are on the ground
How do you get your ropes back?
It’s actually not sketchy feeling at all, you’re hooked in two places and ride right down.
But where is the rope protection near the steel edge? 1:44
That is a valid question. With the ropes path inspected, typically rope protection is not used when rolling off of a smooth round steel surface.
How do you get the rope down
Awesome
Nice man
"On Repell"...."On Belay"...
*controlled descent 😜
I like doing with milan
