those holly leaf trays with the chips. or any ceramic piece with chips on the edges, an easy fix is to color in with matching felt pen and a cover coat of glossy nail polish if you need the shine, another option is glossy colored nail polish, just a dab to cover the chip. the felt pen colors are easier to find.
Paint the chips on the holly leaf dishes, tyey would still look good?...The crochet doll looked like something Andy out of toy story would of made😂😂 loved the basket & Christmas ornaments❤
I love when I can find vintage linens at the bins! I made my first Bins trip this year yesterday and had some great finds. Be glad you weren't there earlier... it was PACKED!
Santa’s eyes were SO BIG because he saw the M&M people 😂😂😂😂 Julie, a HOT ITEM that resellers on Instagram have are just the “clock faces” . I wonder if they would be a good seller for you? Watch faces and Clock faces. Many people used them this year as ornaments on their Christmas trees… they were beautiful. Just some food for thought! I wonder if the little girl on the rocking horse came off a Nursery Room Lamp…maybe it was the final on the top of the light.
I’m just not even gonna say what that fruit painting reminded me of 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ the one standing melon with a slice out of it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️I can’t unsee it 😂😂😂
First, I would totally be into the T-shirt idea with bonjour y’all!! Second, I would’ve moved that clock to the other shelves because it’s pretty nice. And last Santa was very creepy with his huge eyes!!
You can remove the gold paint on the glass on the clock, I think with nail polish remover. Sherry from Canterbury Cottage has done that and then she does cute vignettes inside them.
Hi Julie, love the doll she is beautiful she looks like an Amish doll they don’t put faces on them. Wish you had picked up more of the white linen pieces they were pretty 😍
I love that white gravy boat. I collect them. The doll looks Amish made to me. No faces or adornments. Ive seen the butter ornament at Cracker Barrel. Love seeing what you find!
Fun watching you dig through the bins! Your doll may be a pillowcase doll. They were popular in the 90's. I have one from a pillowcase my grandma embroidered.
I don't understand why you put things back if it has a slight chip off it, with your flip skills I would have thought you could dab it with a bit of paint or felt tip
I would take the clock out of the wodden case and use it as a display case. Id risk buyi ng the rug gripper even if i used it under a napkin placed under a vignette
My closest Goodwill is a 100-mile round trip. Life in the boonies - Big Island Hawaii. There's a new GW opening soon "only" 20 miles away. They don't have bins here😢
The Amish doll got me curious so I googled the story behind them being faceless with no makers mark. This is what I learned: “A sociological study from 2007 says that the dolls are left faceless because "all are alike in the eyes of God", and that the lack of facial features agrees with the Bible's commandment against graven images. Most Amish doll makers were anonymous”
The faceless dolls are made by the Amish. . They never put faces on the dolls because they believe it would refer to being vain.
I love the vintage books you pick up. And Sandra Boynton is such a great children's author.
So glad you saved the doll. She is still beautiful even without a face.
I would have gonna the clock ... You could add your own taste to it ... Replace the glass , Add some to the top ... It would have been beautiful !!!

The doll is a pillowcase doll. They never have faces because they made from real pillowcases.
The stick of butter ornament…I sold several of those this past Christmas season.
Could you apply an IOD stamp to the yellow napkins? Perhaps something with a spring and/or Easter theme. Hugs from Texas🤠

The doll could be an Amish doll. They don’t put faces on their dolls
Julie - the Amish make their dolls with no face. Painting a face on that would be incorrect. It is beautiful as it is.
I really fine watching the bins cringy, it is not my thing. You work so hard and deserve to find good stuff.
The faceless doll is probably an Amish baby. They leave faces off their dolls.
Doll without a face could be Amish, especially if it has a long dress and bonnet like that one. I heard it means that we all look the same to God.
Could be a Amish doll.
