We had an easy ride in Scandinavia, but things heat up once again as we head to France. In our French tour, we make stops in the capital city of Paris, Nice, the international wine capital of Bordeaux (also regarded as the hardest track in the game, damn those grapes!), and the principality of Monaco.

The music in this game is worth a techno party

I agree with both sides, actually. The grapevines on the side of the road would definitely make this a difficult track since they slow you down so much so fast, but the winding curves and the high speed potential on the last stretch also make it a very fun track.
Personally speaking, I always hated the first and second tracks on France. But I always loved the third. It's so much fun, especially going against a friend
Bordeaux is really a worst nightmare as a circuit. Very hard.
Yep, with its constant winding turns and those grapevines lining the track that will destroy all your speed in an instant, only the brave should play!

Bordeaux may very well be the hardest track in the game indeed , but Nice has by far the worst pit stop IMHO.

There is a 2018 game called Horizon Chase Turbo that I recently started playing on my channel that serves as a great throwback to this game. But yeah, younger gamers really missed out.
Bordeaux racetrack is extremely troublesome and it has disgusting bulky obstacles.

As a kid I always hated the signs in Nice, the grapes in Bordeaux, but I loved the long tunnel in Monaco! Pretty interesting tracks!
Bordeaux is one of those tracks I have a love/hate relationship with. On one side, the winding curves and the high speed potential on the last stretch of the track make it a very fun track, but those grapevines taking you to a dead stop in 0.1 seconds also make it very hard.
I had a lot of trouble with that one with the last reason you mentioned there. It actually is one of the most fun tracks though and by holding the brake and acceleration button at the same time it's fun to see how fast you can speed around the tight corners :P

You're absolutely badass... How you got to 1st place just at the beginning while computer player was still 19th... I used to be that good when I was a child, just got back to playing this every now and again with friends. You're video's been of great help. (y)

dang, you made this look so easy ^^ i recall this country always giving me trouble in the game, to the point where i'd play all the tracks except for this country ^^
decided to fire the game up to play it, and finally beat it 7 save state loads later! (on amateur, nonetheless). dang, this is a hard country!
(at least monaco was a nice breath of relief! everything else kicked my ass so badly)
Bordeaux is the hardest track for me but I still manage to get the 2nd place behind ritchie. 😅

In Bordeaux you can finish without pits with White Car. This course is my favorite alongside Black Forest.
Black Forest is my favorite course too, followed by Chichen Itza. Bordeaux is up there too.
Daniel Lamounier San Francisco is the easiest to finish with the white car.

Mizzo Ibr Yeah, but luckily it gets easier after that. Bordeaux in particular is commonly cited as the single hardest track in the game, but it can also be really fun.

Sin turbo no le ganas al computer en la primera pista de francia .yo tampoco pude muchas curvas .utilize turbo
Con el auto rojo se juega en manual .. Francia es el circuito más complicado

+Nilza R. Which race are you stuck on? Paris and Monaco shouldn't be too bad. Just make sure to slow down enough not to slide off the road on the turns. Nice and Bordeaux are a different story. They should be easier with the white car, though.
On Nice, the hardest part for me is the construction roadblocks just before the pit stop. When the roadblocks stop blocking the right side and start blocking the left side, stop turning to shift over to the outside of the track to avoid them. It took me a while to figure out that part reliably.
Bordeaux, on the other hand, is commonly cited as the single hardest track in the game, and for good reason. The only tip I can give you there is do NOT slide off the track! Slow down as much as you have to to take a turn without hitting the grapevines, because they will take your speed down to zero in an instant. Use your nitro after the last long turn to make up any lost speed from the harsh turns.

Notoriously you use some kind of hack to avoid cars and not chrash 'em and controlling the car no braking

Good afternoon! friend of the channel (MetalSmasherGaming) this game and the old ones, I played a lot on super nintendo, as a teenager, friend I wanted to know the following about you, how have you had this channel longer than I did my channel on youtube, when you posted this video did you or did you not have a copyright problem?
I've had this channel since late 2009, and I've had a few issues with copyright mostly from fraudulent companies with no actual rights to the audio they claim.

Que curvas tan feas hay en las pistas de Francia, sólo llegue a conquistar el 1 lugar en una de ellas y las demás en 3 o 2 lugar...me la pellisque al final jajaja

Sí, Bordeaux es un lugar problemático. Es divertido, pero difícil.
