Sorry for a question so many years later, but my TV suddenly won't play sound. Doesn't matter the device. Any ideas? I've tried a lot of the basic ideas online....but no luck.
My TV audio and visual works. But the screen is white. Not completely because I can still see the volume and change letters. Can anyone help me please.
You may need to check your timing control board. That is where I would start. T-Con boards are cheep, but you will need to match up the exact numbers to your board. They can be found on eBay most of the time.
Also you may want to check the output voltages to the main board and your timing control board on your power supply. If the voltages aren’t correct it will not function correctly.

Mine has sound and powers up the screen powers up but only with black image what is likely wrong with it. It's the same model in the video

Probably bad caps. I had to replace mine on the power board.
