I don't care what others think of X3's sound, I love the guitars a lot. This is really great as well, it's exactly how you would imagine it translated to X3.
Duothimir gate stage 1 spikes... nothing that unarmored x does will allow him to get pass that... gate stage 2 rain area.. you can’t get pass that area without air dash... so no, you can’t finish this game with unarmored x alone.
In my eyes, X6 probably has the best soundtrack in the series, the best weapon set, and some of the coolest mavericks. The main stages are still pretty fun, if not as good as the previous games. The gate stages are fucking _horrendous_ , though.
CenetaurmanE52 if they would've fixed the enemy placements, clean up some level designs (GATE, I'M LOOKING AT YOU!), and make the story more practical, you've yourself a pretty solid X game. It had potential...
I like Blaze Heatnix's stage when I've got some weapons to play around with. God knows how the hell you're supposed to beat that if you want it to be your _first_ stage, though.
CenetaurmanE52 it's possible to beat it as your first stage......it's BEYOND HARD to do it, and it may include a couple of deaths/game overs, but it's doable. You'll have to rely on long distance and patience...
Mmm hm that's a nice opinion however I found the game generally lacking in polish, has poor camera panning so the player is forced to make blind jumps, having irritating/lazy design in many areas, nightmare system being just terrible, unbalanced as hell, poor enemy placement (particularly those nightmare enemies), progression for uninformed players being fucked etc. It's not a completely terrible game but just an aggressivly mediocre one on average. You can check out quickies don't cut it if you want a more in-depth look at it, weird how there's so many videos analyzing the game for all it's faults overall but none that are generally positive. Anyway X4 still remains the last genuinely GOOD X game for me.
Let it be noted that X6, whose soundtrack is beloved for being guitar-addled, magically _stops_ being beloved when it's guitar-addled with synthesized guitar samples. Funny how nature do dat.
Dracula9AntiChapel The choice to use the distortion guitars for the bass was a weird one. For the second half it works great, for the first part... not so much. Also, did you improvise the guitars on the second loop?
Dracula9AntiChapel Is Double/Jello Man battle from Mega Man X4 an option? Maybe in X2 style since both the song and X2's soundtrack seem to have Guitar Riffs.
My favorite Megaman Intro Stage Music... And Heck, this, even though not as calm because of the guitars, sounds AWESOME!! So chaotic and without losing the depressive feeling of the track!!
I keep coming back to this arrangement, just for the improvised section alone. That single section makes this already fantastic song, feel even more complete than it was before, *on-top* of using the X3 soundfont properly. Five years later, and this Arrangement still holds up!
Believe it or not, this is almost how i thought X6 intro stage would sound in 16 bit, great job on this one, it brings back good memories of this game (Except for those *ATROCIOUS* Gate stages)
I love the improv using the electric guitar. I always felt the original song felt a little empty, though the japanese version could be a neat ambient version.
Huh, so people are acomplaining about this one...? I don't know, I played all the X games, start to finish - yes, even the disaster called X7 - and never had a problem with X3 music style myself. And I do enjoy listening to a lot of soundtracks out there. XD Anyways, I'm glad to find yet another remix of the intro stage of X6, I really like this one. ^_^

I've always wondered why the guitar rifts that play @0:25 and @0:45 don't play in some versions of X6. I believe the anniversary collection has the intro stage without that guitar in it. I know that some don't have it, but never got why they took it out to begin with. Was that guitarist a prick or something and wouldn't let them keep it?
In the version of the OST I got, the one with the guitars is labeled "Overseas version", so maybe it was just a last-minute change that didn't make it into the JP ver?
AzarFirefly so any version without the rifts is the beta version of the track. You could here it on the demo of X6 only in Japan. You can also listen to it by going to the cutting room floor X6 page. There's several changes you can see there
Hmm... very interesting arrange. Have you ever considered making a Mega Man Zero or a Metal Slug 3-Style arrangement of this song? The choirs I think would fit nicely.
It isn't too bad, thats the point of changing styles, it isn't supposed to hear like the same piece, I like it. Also, drac made worse mistakes in the past (like phoenix magnion x2 style)
What are people talking about here, exactly? Besides the brass in, like, the first few notes of the song, this actually sounds great. Maybe its because of the high-pitched instruments? I mean, for my experience with X6 music so far, one thing that I noted is that the soundtrack likes to abuse high-pitched notes like its nobody`s business, and when translating that to the SNES, it CAN get pretty ear-piercing, since most SNES instruments arent used on going in high pitches like that, and that includes MMX instruments. That`s definitely not the remixer`s fault, though, especially when it wouldnt sound as good with a lower pitch anyway. Or maybe its the choice of instruments? Not sure what you guys are on about tbh...
Not sure about this one chief. X6's opening built up this lofty feeling before slamming down those hard apocalyptic feels. X3's dingy guitar samples make it really grungey. A for effort though.
I don't care what others think of X3's sound, I love the guitars a lot.
This is really great as well, it's exactly how you would imagine it translated to X3.
I love the guitars in X3! they are just so.... recognizable!!!
Ya they fuckin are!!!
yes
i don't really get why people are disliking this
i mean, yeah, its guitar heavy, but thats the X3 style for you
besides, i personally love X3s guitars
That picture's pretty funny because unarmored X doesn't stand a chance in X6.
Great work btw!
Ganonmustdie2 Sure he does, it just takes hundreds of tries and a lot of knowledge of how to abuse hitboxes and certain glitches.
You speak as if the game was rushed.
lol
You mean like HideofBeast did??
Unarmored X can be great if you know how to avoid getting hit, though. His charge shot is one of the better charge shots in X6... somehow.
Duothimir gate stage 1 spikes... nothing that unarmored x does will allow him to get pass that... gate stage 2 rain area.. you can’t get pass that area without air dash... so no, you can’t finish this game with unarmored x alone.

I liked this a lot!!! Good work on the adaptation to X3 sounds!
Dracula9AntiChapel x6 actually does use synthesized instruments, in fact none of them are real, just really good synth.
My favorite Megaman Intro Stage Music... And Heck, this, even though not as calm because of the guitars, sounds AWESOME!! So chaotic and without losing the depressive feeling of the track!!
Quando a música é MUITO boa ela fica sensacional em qualquer versão!
Exatamente 👍🏻
I can imagine this on X2 soundfont
I think the same
So, I discovered this today, and I've been listening for hours, it's a wonderful arrangement.
I keep coming back to this arrangement, just for the improvised section alone. That single section makes this already fantastic song, feel even more complete than it was before, *on-top* of using the X3 soundfont properly. Five years later, and this Arrangement still holds up!
Gran trabajo, este tema tiene algo envolvente que no te deja...
My favorite X opening stage thank you for this
absolutely beautiful, i cannot stress how much i love this enough
Best megaman x intro ost translated into X3 format. Very Good Dracula, very good.
Dude, you should open a spotify account and upload it there! :D
That creative guitar solo !
Believe it or not, this is almost how i thought X6 intro stage would sound in 16 bit, great job on this one, it brings back good memories of this game (Except for those *ATROCIOUS* Gate stages)
Didn't like it at first, but over time i started really enjoying this arrangement. Good work!
Epic X3 arrange, dude.

Also sorry about that earlier comment; I understand you're busy and that you have a life to live too.

I've never heard of the riffs not playing. You have my intrigue. Can you link any of these versions?
Dracula9AntiChapel There’s an example on the game's page on tcrf.net. Apparently it’s from the Japanese version.
Interesting! Thanks for the find, mate.

Honestly I prefer this over the original, since it's got more punch to it.
cool
High Mac would've been a much worse name for Gate to use, in all honesty.
but you must silence the main melody on the improvised guitar solo part, they kill the jazzistical magic moment
Im talking about the strings melody
Good beats!
it does sounds... weird for some reason, i don't undertand much of music but that's what my ears are telling me.
It isn't too bad, thats the point of changing styles, it isn't supposed to hear like the same piece, I like it. Also, drac made worse mistakes in the past (like phoenix magnion x2 style)
We don't talk about that.
Unarmored X can probably survive for about less than 1 minute in X6
The beginning made me HEAVILY think of Breath of Fire 2's instrumentation. Didn't realize how similar they were to the X series until I heard that.
Can I use this please.
Can you do a Sigma 2nd (X6) Z3 style soon?
Jason Voorhees :(
The only good song in all of X6... I love you.
you're actually nuts or have only heard this single song from the game
hey buddy how you doing and how's your fan project going I say this a while ago😰?

That one water level
It sounds a bit weird,i don't think it translates well into the SNES.

then fuck you
Well EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS FOR HAVING AN OPINION.
yuck, too many guitars, not a fan of x3 style
Well, that's X3's sound style. Sorry I'm not a liar.
Dracula9AntiChapel I like it. :)
The original game (for the most part) was not composed well at all, but he still manages to make it sound a lot better.
Blandation Which one? X3 or X6?
To be honest.....both. I originally meant 6, though. Both did have decent tracks, but overall not close to matching the better ones.
style x3 is very stupid, style x2 is better
you're very stupid
Mario A I saw you saying the same but in other video (Shield Sheldon 16 bit SNES remix).
