Lovely pattern. Those of us who've made these type of hats before will know that from the 2nd row onwards you work in the back loop of each stitch only, to give the hat the stretch effect. However, it wasn't mentioned until part way along that row so might confuse anyone making this type of hat for the 1st time
You just popped up on my recommended videos. Heartland is my favourite yarn. I’ve made a lot of beautiful hats with it. This a a gorgeous pattern. I’m looking forward to making it. Thank you. I’m subscribed. 😁🇨🇦

l love this hat. i am here for the first time and i just subscribed. looking forward to seeing more thank you for showing us how to make this lovely hat. l even have the same yarn already.
I finished my first one and it came out beautifully. The only change I made was to do the first row in the back bumps and it made seaming a little easier to match stitch for stitch. Thank you and I will be making more of these.
😮❤😂❤ I hate wearing hats but I love to make them , and I'm going to make this one for myself and wear it everyday whether I look good in it or not... At least the hat will be pretty! 😢 The older I get the more I look like my brothers is the problem😢.😊
@@Irysh77 I'm so glad you like it! I don't have it written down right now since I just work it from memory. Maybe I could add it to the description since it's just a 4-row repeat. Grateful you're here!
Hello beloved one, This hat pattern is now on my pattern to try list because I like making hats. The only part I didn’t quite understand is the last 6 slip stitches where you stitched it together on top. Do you do the slip stitch in every other row or every 4 row? Can you please explain that to me once again. Thank you and enjoy your day blessings. ❤
@@BegayveCreation You work those slip stitches in rows 3 and 4 of the 4-row repeat. In rows 1 and 2 of the repeat, you turn your work just before the 6 slip stitches at the end of row one, work row 2 back toward the 26 single crochet of the brim, then turn and start row 3 where you'll work those 6 slip stitches at the end of it, turn your work, 6 slip stitches and then rest of honeycomb pattern to end of row 4. Let me know if that helps! Happy you're here!
@@rebeccadana5945 If you look on the label, it'll say it's a size 4 yarn. If the recommended needle size is a 5 or 5.5 mm, it's worsted weight (aran), or it'll say medium weight. Happy to have you here!
