@@acediamond7524 Then you’ll get comments like Ange is getting where he plays the same no matter who’s playing. But here apparently it’s a negative Arteta changes it up.
Arteta manages like he played….i genuinely think because he was never a supremely talented star player who was very much system-oriented and relied on just keeping things moving, it seems as if he’s got an aversion to star players who can take a match in their hands and perform moments of magic on their own. It’s as if he’s not only employs a style of play that is solely possession based and sidewards or backwards just to keep things ticking, but moreso the players he selects and signs are strictly in his mold. He refuses to bring on players who are uniquely talented. Everyone is someone he can mold into what he wants, and he surely does NOT want any player to distinguish himself on their pitch. And it’s killing the team. Because the best teams have managers who not only have their systems, but they have star players who are allowed to express themselves on the pitch, even if it means the structure is broken for a single play. It’s what breaks teams down, it’s what opponents can’t account for, it’s what makes good teams exciting and frequently win matches they otherwise (as we’ve proved this year) would draw. This is Artetas ultimate team right here. A strong defense, midfielders who don’t have personality but will for the most part remain stout, and absolutely zero attacking flare. Anyone saying it’s not, all I’ve got to say is that he’s had 5+ years and almost a BILLION pounds to create his vision. He’s done that. And that’s why he needs to go. He’s maxed out until he fundamentally changes everything he believes in.
I agree with you on somethings you said, though i disagree with you a bit on the style of play. In 2022/23 season we were playing a free flowing style under Arteta. I think we can play that way, i'm just gutted that Arteta changed everything. Our football was not just stiff like the way it is right now. Gabriel Jesus lead the line in style and even though he got injured and we had some defensive fralities towards the end, the Football was great. We didn't really have the best of the best players but they were expressing themselves on the pitch before. Anyway i'm on board if we get another manager. I just want Arteta to succeed but it seems he's his own downfall and if we are trophyless again then he needs to walk.
If you think arsenal are going to sign anyone of note in Jan - you’re living in cuckoo land. We signed Merino, Calafiori and Raya for 100 mil this summer - there is no way the board are lashing out on a top proven Prem player - which is what we need right now - in January. Liverpool signed no one - except an injured 10 mil Chiesa - have the same players they had last year - and are ripping it up. It’s not new players we need - we need a manager with tactical nous and a personality that doesn’t ooze nervousness
Because Salah is the best in the world on his position, lethal and clinical. Diaz is consistent and world class, Trent is world class, the hungarian player too, MacAllister too, and many more! They have proven winners in the squad that have won the best trophies! Mentality monsters! That's why!
Just being real i don't like Arteta ball;its hard 2 watch;Arsenal cannot win the league playing like that;Ipswich one of the worse teams in the league this season 1-0 at home;
I said it time and time again...the cone man pushed for havertz and that was the start of the downfall in progression..any serious club ownership would have fired the cone man long ago for wasting so much money...I highly doubt we will ever win the league with the cone man..i hope ethan leaves soon because the cone man will destroy his career. ..bro saka ain't coming back until pre- season 25-26 and he may never be the same again thanks to the cone man again for not buying a backup for over 2 yrs
Havertz sets the team back no. 9 or as midfelder. At best he's an average poacher. Arteta got a thing for him?? (other than justifying the 65 mil waste)
All the forwards we have started today & the only 2 out is saka & sterling (who never plays anyway) Shocking position to be in with this squad & watch this club do nothing in January
One thing we do not have is pace. We never counter, which would keep the opposition honest. Look at Liverpool, Chelsea, and top European teams. Pace is important.
Pace is important but so is skill. Trossard, for example, showed great skill by cutting in and delivering several excellent crosses with his right foot from the LW position. He also showed great skill by beating his man on the outside, and delivering a goal line tap in for Harvertz, with his left foot. Trossard has no pace, but he has skill and a footballing IQ that Martenelli sadly lacks. Trossard's only problem is inconsistency. If Harvertz had scored another tap in from his headed pass, Trossard would have had 2 assists. It is very clear that he has been working on crossing the ball with his right foot from the LW position.
I saw the starting line up and thought Havertz and Jesus should not play together, with how thin the squad is one should be on the bench able to come on try change it.
Entertainment value aside, if Havertz doesn't score, we don't win that game. Not the first game winner he's scored for Arsenal either so this narrative that he only chips in a goal in games we dominate just isn't true. Oh, and he's Arsenal's top scorer. Certainly we should still be looking for an upgrade because you do want your main striker north of 10 goals halfway through the season. But it's hard to say he isn't pulling his weight when everyone else in the squad has scored less.
It's not a joke , because you would all be slating him very badly if his hands weren't behind his back , it takes discipline to maintain that concentration to the last minute.
If its not broken no need to be fixed. Arsenal 2 seasons ago was breath of fresh air to watch. Only need a few more qualities to make them the real deal but arteta has gone in reverse. Too much system base players in the squad. No collector and destroyer. Some one that can pick up the ball and take 2, 3 opponents on twisting them inside out. The system now is boring and slow. No fast intricate give and go play, no runners. Arsenal are known for their quick swift play style football. Teams use to get destroyed by sitting in low blocks or opening up against arsenal because they were deadly of play with intensity especially in weaker opponents half. Arteta need to go back to basic. I look at the midfield, slower than SpongeBob cat. Partey, jorginiho and merino aren't your runners that will pull opponents apart to make space for others.
Saka is done at this club. He will never be the same. Watch his value decrease year by year. Might be a good idea to cash in this summer by getting rid of him along with Jesus and martinelli. We can then get Rodrygo and isak in the summer. Gyokores this Jan. That business there wins us the league and I don’t get paid to do this. What are the board smoking. Joke of a club
@@hashgnome9326 There’s more negative risks with that. I’d say Arsenal have a better chance of winning more with a better LW and Striker rather than a new manager.
@@jgunner94 he has had 5 seasons and refused to sign a striker because he knows strikers have egos and he can't manage that. That's his failing. @@hashgnome9326I think the development and backing of Saka, Martinelli, Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Nelson has had an influence on the signings in attack. The attack had more of a future and looked better early in Arteta’s reign compared to the midfield and defence, those areas needed more of the work. Would he really be a football manager if he was that worried about players having some ego? Come on now. Let’s be sensible with the Saka injury. He’s one of our own, loves the club plays for the badge. If it means we win absolutely nothing, let’s make sure he is well looked after and not rushed back. He needed time out anyway. Be mature, get him back to 100%. Rather that than we rush him back like a racehorse and win nothing. Duty of care.

I've seen 4 teams better than Arsenal in the league this season. If I'm being honest, we are lucky to be where we are! We need a winger and striker in the January transfer window
Curtis! I totally agree!...We must add more firepower to our Arsenal in January, otherwise we have no chance of winning anything Major this season!!....The fact that Saka has had surgery surely means that we can't expect to see him back in full action much before Easter realistically!😱 We simply cannot rely on Martinelli to produce the goods necessary, or Jesus to score consistently, therefore Arteta has NO OPTION WHAtSOEVER than to bring in either a Stellar striker, or Elite winger in this imminent transfer window, coz he will need to be SACKED in the Summer if we end the season with NOTHING for the 5th year in succession!!! 😳😳😳
Good thing I didn't stay up for the 1:15 am start. We need to sign 2 like u said but it won't be the 2 that we need. I have absolutely no trust in Arsenal's board or Arteta.
Arteta could simply be preparing this way so he can look back and say things like "We had Saka out for months" when he has to face the press after another trophy-less season. It's not as though the problems aren't obvious. The alternative is not to buy and carry on as it is, winning nothing.
If we are not signing any good attack player in January , it just show our owner would be happy arsenal in top 4 club once again… Which make me sad…. We wait big trophies for damn long time already…..
Big up yourself Curtis and the community. Fidel Arteta has finally put his workHorse out of commission! I reckon Saka will be out for the rest of the season! Transfer window coming, don't expect anything to happen... Same old story... we went for so and so but...
I genuinely fell asleep on the sofa watching that dross Curtis, we’re so poor and just don’t see us realistically challenging for the league, especially with Saka’s injury which sounds like a bad one.
I’m thinking it’s arteta drawing martinelli, trossard and even Odegaard down. 15 goals for Odegaard and perunelli two seasons ago now both don’t make one
Arsenal need to trigger a big name striker clause on 1st Jan, it's simples, otherwise they not serious. Teams don't fear our attack. We must be the only big team without a pure out and out recognised striker.
That was just awful to watch. Serious business needs to be done in January. We are already way behind Liverpool and can’t afford to drop anymore points. Sadly I don’t see the club doing any business in January….
We are boring to watch but let's not lose focus here. We just need to keep winning that's all that matters. Would any of us care if all we did was win 1-0 but won the league? Winning is all that matters in the end.
This is the beginning of the end of Saka's career. He's been overplayed too much now and his body has started to break down. When surgery is required on the hamstring injury then there is more chance it will happen again. Like what happened to Michael Owen.
Sins of transfer windows past has come back to haunt us yet again ... we have a recognized striker with Ethan Nwanieri is wasted on the bench and his creativity not used ... when we badly need some imagination uo front but we have a manager with lack of imagination, experience and also ambition ... had we have a manager that CAN identify and solve the problem by being proactive.
After Saka surgery on his torn hamstring will be out until March at Mininum… this attack was abysmal tonight and it is now evident that we need a striker, backup for both Odegaard and Saka and a midfielder to replace either Jorginho or Partey next summer
The only person to blame for Saka is the so called manager, over played again, AFC have history of burning out young players. Get him out or more pain to come for all.
Now we will know if Arsenal is certain about winning the title. If Saka has been under the scalpel i don't think you will see him again for at least 3 months, the physios will be flat out with the Laser. So hope not but i fear he might not be seen again this season. C,mon Arsenal no more links, you already have your targets go get a couple. Watch all the links coming now !!
An uncomfortable question we need to ask is what Saka are we going to get back? Will this be Saka back as if nothing ever happened and he firing. Or will this be a Saka who now starts to get hit and plagued with injuries as a consequence of being overplayed for years? And one that now longer lives up to his potential?
BIGG UPP CURTIS always we look so slow, Lego Head has run my Saka into the ground, Shame on his selfish decision too over play him, Bun Peps little cousin

I love Arteta but I don’t know if he can lead us to a major trophy 🏆 he tend to destroy what works and loves to tinker around with the team constantly.
I hope I’m wrong but I suspect you are right.
We really need to strengthen in the transfer window!
@@acediamond7524 Then you’ll get comments like Ange is getting where he plays the same no matter who’s playing. But here apparently it’s a negative Arteta changes it up.
Exactly bro great points! 🎯🎯🎯🎯
“Supreme talented star player” 😂😂
Hilarious.. he was a UTILITY man at best
That's why!
Arteta will buy another defender!!
Snorefest indeed. I genuinely fell asleep 😆
This is the true. The aim this season is top 4 and a cup title or two.
We have shot ourselves in the legs. The board won't spend in January and we will struggle for third or fourth position .
If I'm Kroenkes I'm looking at Arteta with 750 million spent and I ain't giving him no more money
I don't see title winners when I watch Arsenal
They should have won 1 of the last 2 titles but that's Arsenal for you
@@JackSmith.9966It hurts even more now with the City drop off
it took Ousmane Dembélé like 2 years of his hamstring tear
The tricky thing about a hamstring is not recovering but it’s the injury reoccurring. They have to give Saka time.
Just being real i don't like Arteta ball;its hard 2 watch;Arsenal cannot win the league playing like that;Ipswich one of the worse teams in the league this season 1-0 at home;
It’s hard without Saka
🎻
@@hashgnome9326 😂😂😂😂
This manager has run him into the ground
its 3 points without Saka
Boy do we need new attackers in January!
Arteta Sabotaged our club when he signed Havertz and set us back two seasons.
Arsenal Need to sign a RW and a striker minimum in January. Send Sterling back to Chelsea if the board sign a RW
This is on arteta saka went off against West Ham holding his hamstring and he has kept picking him rather than give him 2 weeks to heal
5 years of the project gets you this? 😂
We know.
All the forwards we have started today & the only 2 out is saka & sterling (who never plays anyway)
Shocking position to be in with this squad & watch this club do nothing in January
But it's hard to say he isn't pulling his weight when everyone else in the squad has scored less.
snorefest fc
Better than being chaotic and rubbish. I think it was better than many other games, the end product was crap.
Curtis can you make a video on players Arsenal can realistically sign in January.
Arteta coaching ruined Saka. You never "fully recover" from this. Arteta can't manage.
Skelly. 👌🏿
Big up Skelly. the lad is a baller
Havertz was a class act keeping his hands tucked in the last min aswell the little things matter
thats a joke right?
But sucks in midfield
😂😂😂😂😂
It's not a joke , because you would all be slating him very badly if his hands weren't behind his back , it takes discipline to maintain that concentration to the last minute.
He won the game by the goal and that sensible action like it or not that's the reality
100% mate - quality
Sometimes looks like Martinelli's shoe laces are tied up... The wait he runs and tries to keep the ball close.... is weird... Is bizarre
Arteta will bring him back end of Jan
Arteta will destroy Saka before he is 26.
Bukayo Saka, the poor kid, has been played to the ground by Mikel Arteta. This is the result of years and years of abuse at the hands of the manager.
“Boiled Chicken FC” - Big C 🎯
Thank god for curtis, I was not about to watch allat
Saka injury is all down to Arteta and his instance to over play him when injured and play him in meaningless cup games.
A prolific striker would cover up for Saka. This is what our first priority should be.
Saka has got the same injury as REECE JAMES! Sadly his career as arsenal starter is now over
Arteta’s fault!
We need two midfielders and three foward players and get rid of the same
1 winger and a striker immediately
Cheaper to get a new manager who can actually coach instead of giving him more money to waste.
He likes defenders and midfielders because he is more scared of losing (or losing control) than winning and being expressive. Arsenal fans should wake up and sack him.
I’ve liked a lot of the players he’s brought in so I’d give him another season with better attackers.
@jgunner94 Arteta's talent ID is non existent ffs, we could have got Kudus, Paqueta, Bruno, etc. Who were all willing to come but.....time for change enough is enough!!
Oh God that was painful. Huffing and puffing, so indirect. We need to create a Possession % Premier League, we would win every year. Nice to see Frank McLintock at the game. Winning ugly is still winning I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
You should have taken the merchandise back after that poor performance.
It's better to buy the right player for an expensive price instead of buying the wrong players for a big price to instantly needing another player In the same position
Spot On Curtis 👏
Arsenal is regressing faster than that hairline
Let’s be sensible with the Saka injury. He’s one of our own, loves the club plays for the badge. If it means we win absolutely nothing, let’s make sure he is well looked after and not rushed back. He needed time out anyway. Be mature, get him back to 100%. Rather that than we rush him back like a racehorse and win nothing. Duty of care.
Hard Work FC I think more like 250 million
The episode is 100% accurate
Boring tactics from Arteta , no need to pass back again and again , nothing through the middle all down the wings and back , boring …😢
Cunha and olmo arsenal should be all over the olmo deal since Barcelona can’t afford him if we can’t musilla wirtz kind of quality olmo is up there with the very best in the world
Saka was rushed from injury to play the Liverpool game
Im glad i could watch this review on 1.5 speed. Arsenal were mid
Saka overplayed
Good thing I didn't stay up for the 1:15 am start. We need to sign 2 like u said but it won't be the 2 that we need. I have absolutely no trust in Arsenal's board or Arteta.
Arteta could simply be preparing this way so he can look back and say things like "We had Saka out for months" when he has to face the press after another trophy-less season. It's not as though the problems aren't obvious. The alternative is not to buy and carry on as it is, winning nothing.
Curtis saying it as it really is. We've gone backwards, not forwards this season. COYG
If we are not signing any good attack player in January , it just show our owner would be happy arsenal in top 4 club once again…
Which make me sad….
We wait big trophies for damn long time already…..
Arteta ran Saka into the ground
I believe away at Brentford and Brighton, they won't sit that deep. The problem would now be taking our chances as we will get more spaces in behind.
Can Saka future be as a CM maybe when he’s in his mid to late 20’s
That was just awful to watch. Serious business needs to be done in January. We are already way behind Liverpool and can’t afford to drop anymore points. Sadly I don’t see the club doing any business in January….
Did he get the loan permeant
We are boring to watch but let's not lose focus here. We just need to keep winning that's all that matters. Would any of us care if all we did was win 1-0 but won the league? Winning is all that matters in the end.
SouthArtetagate..nuff said
Convinced arteta has been told havertz must play because of his wages per week

Yep, how silly of Arteta playing his top scorer every match 😂😂
This is the beginning of the end of Saka's career. He's been overplayed too much now and his body has started to break down. When surgery is required on the hamstring injury then there is more chance it will happen again. Like what happened to Michael Owen.
Why no young attackers coming through academy/ reserves?
They gonna lose to Both Brenford and Brighton
need a striker badly
60.000 people queuing up for a refund after the game.
our back 5 are in a world of their own passing to each other.
Reya a clown.
Midfield only pass it backwards so buying a striker is a waste of time.
Our front 3 could of sat on the bench the whole game
We didn't look convincing with Saka. Imagine what we look like without him. we need 4 signings to compete remaining of the season
