An Aussie Sausage is a Woolworths beef sausage served on white bread outside of a hardware store, Onions optional, ketchup and mustard also optional. $2.00 for the food item, $1.00 extra for the can of soft drink. If any non Aussie thinks this is strange, it’s a cultural thing.

finger lime = a small underbrush or tree with edible fruit that looks like caviar with citrus-y flavor
salt bush = a native australian bush, with edible seeds and leaves

We dont have nearly as much passion for food as America, if anything they are amongst the highest in the world for passion for food while we are likely amongst the lowest. You're talking about a country where our BBQ is essentially sasusages cooked on an outdoor hotplate, while we celebrate birthdays with $5 cakes from the supermarket, and our only food inventions are dank crap like fairy bread and lamingtons. If you're american, you should know that outback steakhouse is entirely american food but with an aussie decor.

When the ribs are so popular and he makes no money with them, and he knows people would complain a lot when he would take them off because of it. Tell the people that they have to pay idk 5 to 10$ more otherwise the ribs are going off the menu. Probably 90% are gonna say they would pay more if they stay.

yeah it kinda irked me when he said a good business owner would take them off the menu. no, a good business owner would have the price reflect the cost. your 100% right that if it's that good, then raising the price a couple bucks shouldn't matter.

@@Irishrebel092 exactly, it's one of the first things you learn in culinary school. calculating meals, from raw material, processing cost, profit to taxes = price of one portion.

they are smart. I bet you they make money with them, look at that small portion of ribs at the end. It was all marketing talk, not hating, looked great.
