I read that on Indeed the reviews for working at Ultrasabers are terrible. Working conditions are pretty much abusive; from no lunch breaks to no talking or get cursed and yelled at or fired, from no ventilation for the lead they have to work with to you having to click out every time you go to the bathroom. literally

Can’t wait for my acid etched Aeryn coming in, for anyone thinking about getting the etching it’s worth it. It extends your wait time a bit but you can really personalize it to make it your own. I think I’m gonna get the black Vektra next but no etching I’m gonna wrap some leather on the handle and maybe add some cloth on the neck.
Radical Larry it was an extra 150 for me. I got to choose literally any design I wanted. They haven’t finished it yet but told me it would be done this month. I might make a video showing it off. I can show all the pricing and stuff.

Another great instructional video. I just got a Sabertrio Mirah Neopixel about a month ago. Everything you say is true. You can't go wrong with Sabertrio. I bought some of their original sabers when they first came out, an Aeryn and a Skylar. Even though they have only one font, they're so nice I can't bring myself to part with them. You're right about getting the battery out. It's difficult to get the chassis out. Unfortunately, it's not clear from their Facebook video. The video is shot with a black background, the user is wearing a black costume and gloves, and they're manipulating a black chassis. I mentioned this to them, and they sent me a video clearly showing how to get the battery out. Once I saw how they did it, I had no problems. (I mentioned that this is the video they should post.) Their customer service is excellent as well.

I’ll take whatever is closest to what the Jedi would’ve used. I believe it’s 34” or 36”. Weight won’t be much of an issue as long as you practice and train your body with stability, mobility, endurance and strength.
Yep, they said it’s definitely in the works! I believe the saber that’s releasing at the end of this month is a Jedi Fallen Order hilt, with an LED screen on the hilt itself.
Hi there! Do you think it's worth getting a Sabertrio FX saber upgraded with the Crystal Focus X soundboard instead of just getting a Neopixel because you don't have the budget for it? I was thinking about getting the Vektra as my first ever lightsaber, but I don't want to buy just the FX version because the soundboard is too basic, and in all honesty I don't really mind not having the blade scroll effect and localized blaster shots that come with the Neo. Thoughts?

Yes it is! The way I showed the blade at the end of the video really isn't a good representation of how bright it is. In person, it is very bright, and can light up an entire room!
Landon is right, I have the Sabertrio Reaver and it I'd bright, much brighter than toys in a store. Many more LED in a neopixel blade than the Hasbro stuff. This is not a toy, but a collector piece of art.

@@colegifford7123 much, much brighter. That's comparing one Cree LED from inside the hilt, to the hundreds of ultra-bright LEDs inside the Neopixel blade. Even if you don't opt for the Neopixel saber, Sabertrio uses Tri-Cree setups in both their basic stunt and FX sabers, and even those are much brighter than an Ultrasaber.
Not sure if it its just a recent thing, but all 3 of their saber type options are listed as "duel-ready". Though it doesn't specify if the blades they sell are durable, or the hilt is built to withstand the dueling

I've decided that I want to get myself either the Vektra or Vahlken first whenever it is possible for me to do so, and I also wanting to get acid etching, but don't really know much about it. For the Vektra I’m stuck between the dark edition and a possible 36.7 as I’m 6’2 so I’d figure that’d be a good length for my arms or is one size down better? But I can’t chose my switch color. I’m debating between the red with black, or gold with black, and maybe all back? Then my wheel will be brass but maybe just black. Any ideas on that lol. Regardless I’m looking at an expensive saber all I need to do is figure out how much shipping is
Hi, I'm 5.5 and ordered a saber from Ultrasaber this month without really considering my size. The saber including the handle and the blade was 46 inches in length and obviously was too big for me. I had a friend try it out who is 5.10 tall and he found it pleasant to handle and very balanced. I hope that my answer is not too late and will help you.

Trying to decide between blade types. For a first time buyer, I am not sure what I really want. Would be nice to have the best--Neopixel. But I do see myself doing some dueling, and some spinning. Was thinking in-hilt as a result. But then, should I go mid or heavy-grade blades? Would the latter by much heavier for spinning? Much less bright?

$509 USD is for the saber itself, but Sabertrio includes 18 soundfonts pre-installed with every Neopixel saber. The Vektra is (currently) the most expensive saber they offer, however, and there are cheaper options in their store. The total price of the soundfonts that I bought separately to add to my saber (as shown in my first video) is somewhere around $160-170, as I bought 17 of them and they range from $7-12 each. That isn’t necessary, however, as there are already 18 fonts included, and they are great fonts.
Lando Sabers the crystal focus sound board is sold separately from the blade on the website if I’m not mistaken, but if I were to purchase that, and a whole lightsaber, would the crystal focus board already be installed in the saber when I take it out the box?

The Stunt sabers don't have sound, and the FX sabers have a Plecter Labs Pico Crumble soundboard. That "separate" listing for the Crystal Focus 10 is for an upgrade to their FX sabers. That is for people who want an FX saber, but want the Crystal Focus 10 soundboard and the ability to have smooth-swing, add sound fonts, etc. The Pico Crumble soundboard does not have smooth-swing, and you cannot add sound fonts, so by choosing that "Pico Crumble to CFX conversion" listing on their site, it allows customers to switch the soundboards in their FX sabers only. The Neo sabers already have a soundboard installed, so it doesn't apply.

Was a little confused a couple weeks ago compared to now. Slowly understanding. I bought a kylo ren saber from Disney 3 weeks ago and love it. I decided to look on RUclips for comparisons and whatnot because I caught interest. Then I found this guy on RUclips that converts sabers (pitt force five) and his kylo ren conversions are so very nice. I emailed him and he got back to me a day or two later and answered questions I had. Unfortunately, just like some of these other companies, corona got in the way, and isn’t taking orders currently. Then I found out about saber trio, and let’s just say, the quality looks amazing! The kicker is that it’s not as pricey compared to other places, just as good, probably even better build quality than others. I’m sad that I gotta wait till Black Friday to order one, but I understand so they don’t compromise quality. But I do plan on converting my kylo ren saber in the future.
The acrylic is attached to and underneath a metal piece. It’s not like how a thin-neck brass saber goes from steel to brass back to steel. The acrylic is an attached piece over the hilt, not a separate section of the hilt itself.
Is the heavy grade neo pixel blade really that heavy? I’m planning to get a reaver and the 32” blade looks a little too short for me but the extra protection would be nice
The heavy-grade blade is about 1.5-2x heavier than the mid-grade blade. It's not super heavy overall, but combines with the pixel blade and the hilt's internal electronics, it has a fair amount of weight, somewhere around 3 pounds.
I got a saber that doesn’t have the neopixel capabilities and the chassis will not come out. I need to charge it, but I don’t know how to get to the battery. Do you know how?
Hey I am looking to do somewhat heavy dueling and don’t want to get a super expensive saber like a NEO saber... I was wondering If I buy a FX saber from saber trio and do the FX upgrade to CFX for 85$ will I be able to download custom sound fonts and have more color options ? Or would something be screwed up since I don’t have the NEO blade or whatever? Also would you recommend buying a blade separately from sabertrio since shipping is like 50 bucks to get it delivered here in the US . If so where should I buy a heavy grade blade from? Which websites would you recommend for good dueling blades that are compatible with sabtrio hilts, and oh ya and the hilt that I plan on getting is Aeryn if that helps with answering that question. Sorry for asking so much kinda new to this whole thing haha hope you can get back to me!
I'm gonna do a video in the future on the best sabers for every budget and function, but if you plan to duel and want smooth-swing and full colors, then a FX upgrade with CFX is the way to go, absolutely 100%. The Neo blade is what allows for most of the cool effects, but it's not exactly meant for dueling. If you wanna cut some of the cost on your order, I'd opt for no blade, and get a heavy-grade one from Vader's Vault, or the Sparring Blade from Ripper Blades. The one thing that I would say is that due to the nature of a thin-neck saber, I wouldn't *personally* duel with one, and especially not heavily. Although I'm confident in how well Sabertrio constructs their sabers, heavy dueling with a thin-neck like the Aeryn is extremely risky, as you have a much higher chance of it snapping than a standard hilt design. That's not to say it isn't possible, but it is just something to consider, as there is much less there to support the blade, and the blade depth is much more shallow than the other designs.

Oh yes, sorry I forgot about the second part of your question. Yes, when you do that Pico Crumble -> CFX upgrade, that allows you to use soundfonts from Kyberphonic, KSith, SaberFont.com, you name it. The only thing is that some blade features on those fonts may be disabled due to the lack of Neopixel, but you will still have the great swing and hum sounds, and that sweet smooth-swing greatness. In terms of dueling with a Sabertrio, I’d recommend the Skylar, Mirah, Vahlken, or Arclyte, as those are some of the more ergonomically-suited hilts for dueling. The Skylar is a gorgeous hilt, for sure.
Mine was shipped on a Friday (as are most Sabertrio orders) and it arrived on that next Wednesday. That’s pretty typical for Malaysia-United States orders

I've said this on some of Lando's other sites, but I feel like I have to say this again. They used to be good, but in the last year I bought 3 sabers from them. They all had to be sent back to them for repair. One failed just two days out of the box. That one I have not gotten back, even though months and months have passed. They kept telling me it's all finished and they'll send it right out to me, and then they never do. I've been emailing them for several weeks now and have gotten no responses. Their customer service used to be excellent, but no longer. I never thought I'd say this, but I no longer recommend buying from them. It makes me very, very sad to have to say say. Pay a bit more and get a Sabertrio. That's what I plan to do from now on.They are the most sturdy and high quality sabers I own.

Hey I am looking to do somewhat heavy dueling and don’t want to get a super expensive saber like a NEO saber... I was wondering If I buy a FX saber from saber trio and do the FX upgrade to CFX for 85$ will I be able to download custom sound fonts and have more color options ? Or would something be screwed up since I don’t have the NEO blade or whatever? Also would you recommend buying a blade separately from sabertrio since shipping is like 50 bucks to get it delivered here in the US . If so where should I buy a heavy grade blade from? Which websites would you recommend for good dueling blades that are compatible with sabtrio hilts, and oh ya and the hilt that I plan on getting is Aeryn if that helps with answering that question.

I'm gonna do a video in the future on the best sabers for every budget and function, but if you plan to duel and want smooth-swing and full colors, then a FX upgrade with CFX is the way to go, absolutely 100%. The Neo blade is what allows for most of the cool effects, but it's not exactly meant for dueling. If you wanna cut some of the cost on your order, I'd opt for no blade, and get a heavy-grade one from Vader's Vault, or the Sparring Blade from Ripper Blades.
The one thing that I would say is that due to the nature of a thin-neck saber, I wouldn't *personally* duel with one, and especially not heavily. Although I'm confident in how well Sabertrio constructs their sabers, heavy dueling with a thin-neck like the Aeryn is extremely risky, as you have a much higher chance of it snapping than a standard hilt design. That's not to say it isn't possible, but it is just something to consider, as there is much less there to support the blade, and the blade depth is much more shallow than the other designs.

Oh yes, sorry I forgot about the second part of your question. Yes, when you do that Pico Crumble -> CFX upgrade, that allows you to use soundfonts from Kyberphonic, KSith, SaberFont.com, you name it. The only thing is that some blade features on those fonts may be disabled due to the lack of Neopixel, but you will still have the great swing and hum sounds, and that sweet smooth-swing greatness.
In terms of dueling with a Sabertrio, I’d recommend the Skylar, Mirah, Vahlken, or Arclyte, as those are some of the more ergonomically-suited hilts for dueling. The Skylar is a gorgeous hilt, for sure.

They are on a short list of saber companies that I trust, so yes.
I've said this on some of Lando's other sites, but I feel like I have to say this again. They used to be good, but in the last year I bought 3 sabers from them. They all had to be sent back to them for repair. One failed just two days out of the box. That one I have not gotten back, even though months and months have passed. They kept telling me it's all finished and they'll send it right out to me, and then they never do. I've been emailing them for several weeks now and have gotten no responses. Their customer service used to be excellent, but no longer. I never thought I'd say this, but I no longer recommend buying from them. It makes me very, very sad to have to say say. Pay a bit more and get a Sabertrio. That's what I plan to do from now on.They are the most sturdy and high quality sabers I own.

How do you change the blade colour?
By pressing both the activation and auxiliary switches at the same time while the blade is on, you enter “Spectrum Mode”, which allows you to change the colors. I demonstrate this at the end of this video: m.ruclips.net/video/qrs7YNhN9bA/видео.html
