I was switching modes today and went back and forth a few times to see where to keep it at and now I can't get it to crank at all?! Any idea what I could of done or should do?!
Great video ! I have a 2018 2500 deleted running the same hpi ecm . The way mine is set up I can use the cruise control to toggle threw 5 tunes . I was wondering if there’s a way to completely remove def tank .
Is the immobilizer relearn mentioned in the HP Tuners instructions that came with the new ECM something that you did or is that taken care of by the tuner that you get your file from?
Once you completed the ecm swap and have all the data from the old one and put it on to the new ecm, could you drive the truck stock while you wait for the tunes, and then one you have received the new tunes complete the modifications you want? And then write the new tunes to the truck?
So before you remove the stock ECM and read the stock file, is that stock file saved somewhere? If I needed a stock read file and it isn't saved do I need to put the stock ECM back in to do a read and then save? I need a copy of my stock read file
You shouldn't need a stock read file from the OEM ECM, the aftermarket one that you're installing has a stock setup on it, but is tuneable, so you save that stock read, and then tune it accordingly. If you wanted to revert the truck to an OEM setup you'd load the HP tuners ECM stock read back onto it.
@@dirtydieselcustom sir say trucks already deleted completely how does one get ccs tunes only for flashing new Ecm and unlocked tcm? Do they make a shift on fly ?
So I bought this kit for my 2018 l5p, I bought the full delete kit for $5100, hp is saying I need 12 credits for the full delete , but only sent me 8 credits, I don’t understand, I also don’t understand how to get ahold them so they can send me the tunes to download onto the tuner , someone pls help!
You'll see "Flash Completed Successfully" when the tune is flashed. If the tuner stops during the flashing at any point that is also a sign the tune didn't take. Ensure you see that final message to confirm the tune was done.
Any videos of what to remove when tuning and deleting?
Yes please
Great video! Sounds like it has exhaust on it, what else was done to that truck to accommodate tuning? I have a 19 l5p and am wanting throaty exhaust
This is an emissions-off setup up so it's got a turbo-back exhaust giving it some nice rumble without any restrictions.

Yeah def is no longer needed if you fully deleted it, so just unhook it and unbolt it and take it off

Yes the stock will be put back on until you received the tunes for the unlocked ecm
How does it typically take to receive your modified tunes from a tuner?
Usually within a few hours unless it's a weekend or past 5pm
Where u guys located..
Did you do the delete before the new ecm install?
While doing ECM swap it asked for vin# I put it in all lower case , it wouldn’t run at all , any way to change VIN new ECM

Who do you use for the tuner?
We offer a few brands, but I believe in this truck we used CCS tuning.

How to check to see if truck took the tune file on hp editor?

anyone have problems with their remote start after the tune? I followed the steps, no codes, still won't fire up with remote start
you have to get GM software to get your key fob and remote start to work.
