Just received this in the mail. Easy installation. I raised the mph, gave it +25% throttle, adjusted tire size and flashed the economy tune. Man night and day difference, 19 L5P moves faster and she even feels lighter! Thanks Edge for a great product!
Yeah dude I did 25% also and I did the second turn down the light tow, what a difference! Just getting rid of the speed limiter was worth it, but the extra horsepower is a huge bonus! Truck feels like my challenger
@@robertrichey6866 No, those upgrades will simply compliment the tuning already in the device. The calibrations will automatically make whatever they need to based off the input form your MAF sensor
So does this completely unlock the ECM? If so, will someone be able to load emission compliant tunes from other companies through your software? Or will we only be able to use Edge tuning? With that, is there any update with TCM tuning like this? Just trying to avoid having to buy a modified ECM/TCM for emission compliant tuning
If the ECM ever has to be replaced with a new one, is the unlock tool able to be reused to unlock the new ECM without any extra fees as long as it matches the same VIN on the truck?
I wish somebody would come up with a device like this to aid in weight reduction. $6500 before labor… there has to be a better way that doesn’t require me to buy a ford or dodge.
Can you flash with ezlynk or efi live or hp tuners after unlock ? Or does it have to be the edge tuner ? And can I load custom tunes into the edge device ?
We have not tested our process with another companies hardware, so we can't answer this. As for custom tuning, due to EPA/legal issues, we no longer support custom tuning with any of our devices.

The device itself is the same as the other handheld programmers that we currently sell, the difference here is that we now have an ECM Unlock tool for the 17-19 trucks. So you no longer need to remove the ECM to flash tune it, this device will do all of that for you from in the cab.
Can i reinstall the banks derringer in the obd2 after installation? Seems that they have very different methods so i wouldn’t think they’d interfere with each other, but just wanted to be sure as I’m ready to order

Within the Diagnostics menu, the option to perform a manual regen is there for you to select. Once you select it, the device will walk you through the required steps.

The tuning can be returned to factory settings at anytime. The unlock process is not reversible, but that will not interfere with the GM scan tools interacting with the ECM in any way.

How is this on the dpf? Had the V3 never would regen always at 80%soot started getting check engine light removed V3 couple force regens all good.
