I liked the older Good Will videos that included more footage of the random stuff on the shelves. This has more than most. I’m curious do others miss as well? Also way worth buying second lamp. Like mugs lamps are worth more in pairs.
But there are other viewers who complained about meandering videos instead of just showing “the good stuff”. Every RUclipsr evolves how they do things over time - it’s a lot of work making videos (I don’t want to do it!!) so I just go with it instead of complaining because a lot of viewers criticize and say very mean things.
@@FlaNative3 i did not see it as complaining. Anyone who uses youtube is looking for comments and input, the goal is to increase interactions and subscribers. Especially with this type of video that leads you to the ebay page. I miss the meandering ones personally, It was more like going to GW with a friend and seeing what was there. I do like this format as well, though. It is very matter of fact and educational. There is value in both ways.

I believe that the angel on the base is a music box - you twist it, and music plays while she turns. We had one exactly like it when I was a child (I'm almost 58) - it was my favorite!
I love when you go to Finders keepers! When I first started watching you, you went there all the time! You found such fantastic stuff!!
The little wooden bench you found but left on the shelf was a TenderHeart Treasures design. This company is no longer in business. They had their own designers on staff, but they were made in China and high production standards were set. I used to work there.
I probably would have bought the lamp if it didn't have any damage. A lot of people still decorate with matching end tables on either end of their sofa. A matching pair of lamps like that could be just what someone was looking for ???

I was thinking the same thing. Times are changing never expected you to pick up so many modern pieces either. I'm sure expenses go up with the new year. I'm sure everybody needs to diversify to keep profits up these days.

I so prefer watching you thrift at Goodwill stores than antique shops; but yet I find the antique shops very fascinating and educational.

I would have bought the second lamp. I thought most people buy lamps in pairs. 🤔I just bought two lamps for my living room and two for my bedroom.
OMG!! I have seen that teacup that they are asking 270.00 for somewhere before!!! I think my grandmother had one and there is a good possibility it’s in my garage!! lol

I can't believe how many Good Will stores she has access to! We have one where I live.
She's traveling a lot and in the more densely populated areas on the east coast and nearby.
Not sure where you live but in our area we are used to driving an hour daily for places :)

Yes, when Jocelyn mentions where she is, I frequently look up the distance from Dillsberg (their office) to the destination and she goes up to 1 hour 45 minutes away, all over S Central PA and into Maryland. If I went that far (approx West Palm Beach to Miami), there would be over 20 Goodwills, several Salvation Army stores and numerous charity/private thrift stores. I can only handle the 2 GW and 5 privates in my own town …
I would use that shallow crock as a water bowl for my dog. Helps to keep the water a bit cooler.
I like that lamp and if I saw a pair of them I would buy them I prefer to buy lamps in pairs so for that price maybe that might be a thought. Most individuals like to have pairs of table lamps you might want to go back and get it and I bet those lamps so quickly.
I have a non bookend gargoyle that looks the same from Paris. They sold the at the gift shop at Notre Dame Cathedral.
Those wall pockets are gorgeous, and you're right! Both of the big figures were female based on their kimono, hair/ hat, and face styling. The color of the glazes and the care taken with them is exquisite. Great finds!!!
Some teacups are just crazy. Just sold a cup for 900 dollars last week🙊
I've missed finders Keepers. I like their price scale. You should have gotten the lamp, a pair sells better than a single.

When my daughter moved out of our house in California to attend Penn State York I was so excited to go to east coast Goodwills. Before we even stepped foot in Target and Bed Bath and Beyond to furnish her new apartment the first place we went to were both Goodwills in york. I actually found great things in this Goodwill for her apartment and for me to take home. I found your channel after I came back from Pennsylvania. As soon as i saw that staples behind you in another video I knew exactly what goodwill you were at.

The bird figurines at 11:15 by Andrea by Sadek have sold on eBay recently for $70 and up.
We have gargoyles on our downspouts...original to our 1930 house. Nice patina to them now after 33 in our home 😄 someone tried to steel them one time!! They r welded on now

Girl crocks especially blue striped crocks of all sizes are so popular rn!! I always look for them online or anywhere and they are always so expensive!
That sheep planter would make a great yarn bowl for knitting or crocheting.

I’ve done extremely well with tiles & prints. I used to pass the art section but now make sure I check signatures. USPS has broken so many of my items even though I double bubble wrap and double box then deny the insurance claims. Shopping for less breakable items.

I'm so torn while watching these videos. I enjoy the treasures found as much as anyone, and think it's awesome to have a business making cash on ebay, but... Ugh. 🥺 I am one of the folks (disabled with MS) that depend on thrifting to keep my home and lifestyle affordable. I'm low income, along with so many others that shop Goodwill & Amvets for my family needs... Not to profit. Prices are higher because now these other folks are profiting on reselling. All the good stuff gets swept up before it even hits the shelves.
I personally only would buy single candlesticks. Not into pairs, 3s yes.

I see your vids of the building with floor to ceiling boxes that would take 100 years to list and sell, then you keep buying more and more. How do you do it? I also think of you every time I get an email from Offerings by Sajen, I "discovered" their jewelry a long time ago and have a labradorite and garnet pendant I wear 24/7. I get excited when you show one of their pieces.

Your Angel you bought with the two Santa’s is a Brite Star MFG CO PHILA PA made in Japan no. 5440. She is missing her candle that she should be holding in her right hand. I just recently purchased one with her box.
The tall candlestick would be nice in a cluster of different heights assorted candlesticks.
Yes. I do this on an antique plateau mirror and it's very pretty.
I thought it finished a grouping of the pink canister with the rose top nicely.

Those are trash bowls for onion peel, etc. When you are cooking. Pioneer Woman started the trend and hers used to sell for $50 or $60. I would've bought it. Lol.

I love watching you I have learned so much more about the glass you pick up I sell on eBay for years but never really much glass but I’m much more confident now also wondering how you have your light box set up it is such a beautiful light for the glass pieces wondering if maybe you could do a short video explaining how to set one up thank you for the videos!
I have witnessed people who come in and ask the help when did they last add to the inventory. Leads me to believe there may be dealers who are buying straight from the back before the items are being restocked on the shelves, so we are seeing only what has very little to no value.
Those wall pockets are gorgeous. The second one looks more masculine but either way, the face is exquisite and beautifully rendered. Although I collect glass, I tire of it and like things like this as well as masks and large animal figurines. I love, love, love Finders Keepers and that St. Vincent shop you used to go to. Good job, girlfriend!

Are you willing to pay Ebay 35 cents per item per month for relistings ( they call them insertion fees) after 250 free listings? Its a new thing with them. They also take commission from the sale amount including shipment paid by buyer...
