I love how the Story is actually really dark and disturbing, but at the same time a comedic masterpiece
The comedy feels like a breath of fresh air (manga mostly) after seeing all the horrible sad stuff ciel and sebastian had to face on a daily basis

Elizabeth was mostly upset she wasn’t able to stay an innocent lady in his eyes. She’s a HIGHLY skilled swordsman and always wore flat’s because she didn’t want to be taller than ceil any more than she way of course. And she probably felt bad about keeping her skills a secret from him.
Yeah there was also a flashback that had Ciel say her mom was scary and he was happy he was marrying someone like her(I don’t know they exact words) but that’s what basically set Lizzy’s I guess…”I will be a woman you can protect” mentality
