- A short compliation of diesel, and gas-turbine engines to be found across the Western Region in the 1960s including shots taken at Swindon of locomotive 18100. Other locomotives include Class 52 'Westerns', Class 35 Hymeks, Warships and more.
How i wish those days could come back, the days of real trains and locomotive, what do we have today glory fide busses try to look like train's fantastic video brings back a lot of memories thank you for bringing back the past,
Nice shot of D809 Champion. I recall that one dumped at Old Oak Common around the back of the old carriage sheds for a few years in the early 70's before it was finally extracted to meet its fate.
The conversion has an interesting impressionist feel.
Some excellent locos there. So many disappeared.
Another great film, nice to see the early Warships and the Blue Pullman.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great shots of Falcon 👍
Some good footage there and a few recognisable locations. 🤙

Remember the Blue Pullman well. When I saw it pass through Dorridge I knew school dinner time was near, lol. Week ends snd holidsys used to go to Bentley Heath crossing just to see it sometimes.

Caradoc was the first diesel I ever encountered. It was at Did cot when I was travelling home to Bristol.
I saw them all ,it took me fourteen years and a lot of petroleum and time but was more than worth it, to ❤❤❤
