Or when we bear Everton 4-1 at Goodison last season, their fans were leaving with the score 2-0 and 20 odd minutes to play. Much prefer the fans of clubs like SU compared to the casuals, glory hunters and tourists who fill out games for the corrupt big 6

Crazy scoreline. Didn't Gordon handle for the first goal? Why was it not called by VAR?
On Match of the Day, Shay Given said it was not disallowed because he wasn't the goal scorer.
Wasn't deliberate and hand was in a natural position so no foul also wasn't goal scorer..(also ball was going into open play before it knocked his hand then headed back out before Gordon stopped it)
Newcastle should of had a penalty as well but no var used

If that's not handball then there is no point on even having VAR, especially with Burnley having one disallowed for the same if not less against Notts Forest. Think it's more protecting the big boys unfortunately which is a shame to see in the PL

Burnley vs forest hand was in a un-natural position so referee deemed deliberate.

@@captainohcaptain9588if you believe that shouldn't be disallowed then I don't know what to tell you. It clearly aided him and kept the ball close to him, deliberate is subjective. When even Longstaff didn't celebrate because he saw the clear handball should be a sign.
Having watched all of our games, the only dodgy decisions happened against teams with a lot of money. Which makes sense because PGMOL is part funded by sky, so the bigger and richer clubs earn them more money so they give them decisions. Former referees have admitted that it happens, just more frustrating with VAR not being used properly.

Burnley fan , its a massive learning curve for all promoted teams, with the difference in quality and money available for players. But you've got to be positive. @@luapnosboh7421: There's no way we can tell from this camera angle if the whole ball is across the line. And the ball bounced up to hit his hand, which was in a natural position. It just gets compounded when that hand is all that prevents the ball from definitely going out of play, but that doesn't really matter.

@@practiceroom9518According to the rules, it's not a handball, since it's unintentional and he isn't the scorer. Also, it actually disadvantaged him, so it's not even a moral handball. It's also clearly on the line. The entirety of the ball needs to cross to be out and there were plenty of goal-line shots showing part of the ball to be over the line.
