- Right off Highway 395 (US Route 395) between Orlancha and Grant, CA is the Orlancha Sculpture Gardens, an interesting little roadside attraction.
US Route 395 has a lot of interesting places to see in the Eastern Sierra's in California, and it os things like the Orlancha Sculpture Gardens that make it such a fun and interesting drive.
In this video we visit and take a tour around the sculptures, meet a local dog, and find out the meaning of life.
The sculptures are located on the west side of the road and are free to visit. You can plug in 1854 US-395 Olancha, CA 93549 on Google Maps and it will put you right by it and should be able to see it.
The sculptures were created by Jael Hoffmann, a Olancha resident who is originally from Berlin, Germany. Her website can be found at: www.jsculpt.com

That's Jael's and Noah's place! That's their dog, btw. Noah is Jael's daughter. Jael is the metal sculptor and Noah does a lot of glass and fiber sculpture.
Thanks for sharing, San Diego Steve!
What a super friendly dog! ❤
Thanks for sharing. You always have the most pleasant music and at a proper, not intrusive, level. Best of luck!
I happened to see the green statue while heading south from Bishop to So Cal. So glad I knew to stop and check this out. Thanks!
you have become more comfortable over the years.....
It was definitely a fun video
I have watched these grow in numbers for years! I must stop I leave for Lundy tomorrow,! Thank you great job!
You make very enjoyable videos.
I've seen these as we drive pass! Haha! This is so awesome! Thanks for this video, I love your videos, 💜💜💜💜
The statue with the sawblade looks like it's playing frisbee with it.
VERY COOL!
I hope that the dog wasn't lost? Or maybe he/she belongs to the house that is in the background. I love your videos and I look forward to the next one. Be careful out there when you guys are traveling
You are very close to Joe’s Airflite Cafe shown in a Twilight Zone episode called “A Hundred Yards Over the Rim.” Located on east side of road at Grant.
We stopped by there and met Jael. She couldn't be nicer! It is so cool hearing her explain the deep meanings behind all of her art. Keep up the solid videos!
That's awesome. I bet that was pretty cool to hear the meaning behind some of these.
Nice video, I drove up 395 a couple of years ago and didn’t notice this. Next time I’ll look for it.
