great review I race with FIVE gloves and these are by far the best gloves I've ever had so I got a few pairs and even have RFX2 for the street. all the gloves they make are hands down (for me) the best line up out there.
Great thx for the well detailes review...im a stickler to gauntlet fit.. i ave a pair of joe rocket gauntlet gloves but couldn't wear them with most of my jackets because it was such a pain in the ass to get over my sleeves...I solved the problem with Knox handroids but since they will soon be discontinued looks like these will be next up...ur authentic use of the products is supreme...please keep up the great work and stay safe!!!
Still the best race glove on the market period.. And yeah total pain to get on but it's your hands swelling a tad at the track.. Put them in at home easy do it at the track not so..
Can we use five gloves RFX 3 in the rains? Will it ruin the leather? Are there ways to protect the leather while riding in the rains? Thank u very much
I saw that these gloves and alot of the other five gloves are on closeout or out of stock? Will there be a new shipment of products soon or will the five brand no longer be offered on stg?
I’ve been looking at these for over a year& half now . The reviews I’ve read, people say the stitching falls apart ,but people say some crazy stuff .. these look to be well made . Ive finally thought to give these a try couple of months ago ..soon here as my gloves are wearing. I’m on my third pair of Revit Jerez pro and love them . But want to try these five rfx race gloves
Rode with mine for the first time yesterday 400 mile street ride...Love the feel that they provide on top of the great protection..and i agree with you that the cuff is a little smaller and takes a bit longer to put on but that is avery small gripe. Well worth the money in my opinion
Wow,impressive;but unless you are getting paid to race this is way out of the average riders range. Most of the guys i know cry when they pay $100 for Alpinestars. 3 pieces of carbon fiber the size of your thumb for $175,might be over kill. I look forward to seeing how many of these are sold;and how long it takes the price to decrease.
These are not for everyone at that price for sure. You would be surprised how many $300+ race gloves we sell every year. There is a market for them, that said it is not even close to the volume on $200 race gloves. Five offers the RFX1 Glove which are very close to the RFX Race and sell for just over $200. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/five-rfx1-leather-gloves/ - Brian Van
Sportbike Track Gear thank you Brian Van. Knox floored me when i saw their price as well, but i still drool everytime i see a pair and they came down in price a little.
I have got the Gloves for a year now, man and i can tell this is the best glove i've ever got!!! Maximum protection and maximum feel like Brian says!!
Thanks for sharing! - Van
Worth the Price!!
Pirro crashed at over 200 mph wearing these gloves FP2 Mugello this year. I believe his hands were fine afterward

The main difference between those and the RFX2?
Picked up a pair last weekend and they are great. I'll keep the heroic for street riding and use these in the track
The feel is absolutely amazing! - Van
Wow these are the holy grail of gloves
I look forward to trying these out
A great pair of gloves for sure. - Van

You can use them in the rain but it can be a little hard on the leather. Best to not get them wet too often IMO. - Van

The US Distributor for Five has went out of business. Not sure what their future will be here in the US. - Van
Can you link me where I can buy these off your site
Sorry these are no longer being distributed here in the US. Too bad as they are excellent gloves. - Van
Is there a lot of difference between RFX 1 and the Race?
The Race model does offer more feel the RFX 1 model is excellent. For sure the price difference is pretty huge. - Van
I have 3 pairs of 5 gloves and i can say they are worth every penny. They are simply the best gloves you will ever ride in.
We really like what we see so far. The RFX Race Gloves offer more feel than any other glove I have worn. - Van
Will you guys carry the blue anytime soon, I'll pick them up in a heart beat!..

We have ridden in these a fair amount now and the stitching looks great. The feedback we have on Five is excellent thus far. - Van

I meant this in no way as a diss, just somethings in life still blow me away;and the price of a pair of riding gloves is one of them.
You won't get any carbon for 175. You would get some for 500 dollars lol
These or the new GP Tech V2?
How are these compared against the dainese full metal 6?
We no longer offer Dainese products so I have not seen their latest offerings. - Van
Waaaaaaaaay comfier
Looks like thanos hand haha
Too bad these are not available here in the US any longer. - Van
