- Hey, everyone! I hope you had a great Halloween! ♥ Today I bring you some WITCHESSS to celebrate! ♥
I was never really fond of the Trix (or any Winx villain, for that matter...) but I did like their original concepts, which I tried to expand here!
- Icy, Witch of Winter: I wanted to give her kind of a queen vibe. She's the ruthless leader of the three with a heart cold as ice, so she doesn't really care for anything other than her objectives. No even her "sisters".
- Darcy, witch of Darkness: A seductress, and a master of illussions. Just like darkness, she can cloud the sensed and make people see something that's not there... anything for her own ambitions.
- Stormy, Witch of Thunder: The raw, destructive power of emotions. A polar opposite to their leader, she lets her feelings loose, destroying everything in her path if necessary.
Redesigning these bad girls was a blast!!! ♥ And as a fun fact: Only one of those "witch hats" is an actual hat! (Icy's is more of a hairband, while Stormy's technically an afro comb! ♥

I love the personality changes icy is the emotionless calm and collected psychopath stormy has severe anger issues and darcy is the sneaky snarky bish
Man, I love your redesigns, they really make me wanna do my own...
I absolutely freaking love how regal your Icy looks. And I really like how you subtly kept their letters in their witch designs! Icy's crystal for an I, Darcy's little clasp looking like a D, and Stormy's little lightning for her S. Brilliant, wonderful.
I kept whispering "Give her a snake tattoo" when I saw you drawing tattoos on Darcy, because let's face it, she'd definitely have a snake coiling on her forearm.
I know....she adds the details when we least expect it!
and they're freaking awesome!
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for noticing the letter detail!!! I'm not a fan of the letters in their original outfits, but I DID want these redesigns to keep the same vibes (just like the fairies are light, colorful and glittery!), so I just figured that Names are important for witchcraft, so their initials are important to them! I'm just glad the themes fitted the letters perfectly! ♥
I'm also glad you like the tattoos! She's definitely the kind of girl who would have them! ♥

Thank you! I don't really think "evil" is a personality by itself, so I really wanted to enhance their unique traits and take them to the the max in a villaouns way!

I love the makeup and tiny witch hats. They look more distinct while still looking like a cohesive unit.
Yeah! I wanted those features to be the representation of witches in this universe! (Just like the fairies with their wings and glittery effects!). I'm glad you appreciate them! ♥
To no one’s surprise, the trio looks amazing 🤩! You definitely captured Darcy’s cunning, Ivy’s superiority, and Stormy’s ferocity in every element of their design👏🏾. The witch hats were such a creative addition to their outfits, and my god their makeup is just *stunning*. You did a fantastic job with them, I can’t wait to show your whole Winx series to my sisters who also watched the show 😁!
Side note: you just know that Darcy’s whole aesthetic would have Riven in an absolute chokehold lmao, he wouldn’t stand a chance 🤣.
Thank you so much!!!! I really tried to enhance their unique personalities with these designs, indeed! And if I'm being honest here, half of Darcy's redesign is based on her relationship with Riven in the OG show. I'd REALLY like them to have a deeper relationship in my version, and make THAT the reason of his complicated relationship with Musa at first (and not just him being a jerk, hahaha). Anyway, I'm glad you appreciate those details! I hope your sisters like these versions as well! ♥
@@geminineart Omg I would’ve loved to see that! I could absolutely see Riven/Darcy having a more complex relationship, as opposed to it just being a way of Trix messing with Musa. They strike me as a pair who don’t really know *how* to care for their romantic partner because they both need so much love themselves 💔, so we’d get a toxic yet bittersweet dynamic out of them 👏🏾.
@@hakkesho12 Yeah! I can see Darcy wanting to have a "spy" near the Winx for her and her sisters' purposes, but getting all messed up when Riven doesn't follow through. Was it her "enchantress pride" that had been hurt? was it actually her feelings getting hurt because she actually cared for the guy and maybe hoped for something more...? WHO KNOWS, But it'd have been fun to see! hahaha ♥
ooh Icy look like she the leader who you dont want to mess with, her everyday outfit is too cool and amazing, i love darcy hat in both version, so stylish with her outift, stromy look badass, like mess with the trix and she would zapped you to dust
I LOVE THIS! My favorite civilian design is Stormy, while my favorite witch design is Icy.
Just a personal preference; I liked the big witch hats on the "chibis" better than the small ones, but your designs are still incredible!
I actually agree with the hat thing! Honestly, the reason why I left the mini-hats instead was because I want to keep the big ones for fully-formed witches (like Headmistress Griffin), and the Trix are supposed to be still young witches here!♥ I was planning on doing a Full-Witch versions of them at some point (those from later seasons), but I haven't gotten there yet! 😂♥

I love love LOVE this so much! I don't know if I had a favourite of the Trix before but I definitely like your Stormy the most (but they're all phenomenal!)
I was never particularly fond of the Trix either, but I think Darcy was the one I always vibed the most! And that probably reflects in her redesign, hahaha 😎

Icy = Preppy, Darcy = Hipster, Stormy = Punk
Yeah, that's pretty much it!!! If I'm being specific, I went with a mix of preppy and gothic for Icy, and Nu goth for Darcy! Stormy IS indeed full-on punk!
