I agree. Ever since Global Flatline these guys have been on a roll, always delivering. And this just might be one of their strongest releases yet. Do need to give it a few more spins though, but it's already crystalclear to me that this is really really solid stuff with much more variation than I anticipated.
I found Aborted's New Album because of the Cover. The Album Art & Colors made Me Click on it. I was Extremely Surprised on How Good the Vocals are & everything else. I enjoyed the Entire Album from Start to Finish with NO SKIPS! 🖤💜🖤💚🖤💚🖤💜🖤
Aborting! Metalheads of the...here's some fun things to drink this St. Pat's: Pogue Mahon- equal parts Jameson's & Bailey's over ice; 1911 Cider's Green Cider; Sullivans Irish Red, Gold or Stout; Prairie Artisan Rhinestone Rancher (green apple Jolly Rancher sour ale); Lough Gil McNutty Irish Brown & Irish Chocolate Stout. All must be poured in a glass. SLAINT!
I don't really like 'Aborted' - don't dislike them either, just, ya know; not my thing - but you did a really good job of convincing me to give this album another day in court. Great review hombre
Like the Pain of Truth album with all of the features. I’m here for it. Sven was fun on The Acacia Strain’s Graveyard Shift and Ingested’s From Hollow Words.
I flew through this album, every song just hits. Since they took a rap album approach to the amount of features on this, every song kind of has it's own little thing while still being what you would expect from a brutally heavy Aborted album. I really really enjoyed this record, I don't see any way it doesnt make a top 10 list at the end of the year.
A cool, new Irish metal record to check out is DOMHAIN-Nimue. Its too late to suggest, but you shoul do a St. Pat's Irish metal vid. Holiday themed vids get revisited annually. You could do a Cinco de Mayo one...
Aborted are similar to Cannibal Corpse in that I think they have a very consistent Discog for the most part. I’m really interesting to see how they use their guests and their talents.
Couldn’t put my finger of exactly why, but I feel this album is kind of a step down (or, at least, a sidegrade) from their previous material- but their said material fucks so hard that this is still an 8/10 for me. It doesn’t have the atmosphere or Maniacult, the black metal influences from Terrorvision, the old school flavor of Global Flatline… it’s a bit more consistent, but I feel like it doesn’t have a ‘thing’ as an album overall. I dunno, maybe it’ll grow on me with more listens.
I think a lot of the tangents their songs would take in Nectrotic Manifesto through to Terrorvision was influenced by Mendel's style of writing. The songs have definitely been more concise and crushing since he left, but seem to miss the little moments/ideas that didn't always work but really added something extra when they did.
I like the music, but i think the production lets it down. Guitars get drowned out by drums, vocals and samples to the point where a lot of what should be razor sharp riffs end up bately audible.
This band has always been mid. Used to think their band name was sick & had interesting album covers at best. I got Goremageddon when it came out, thought a couple songs were ok
As someone who adores this band and is quite the fan of deathcore, I just don't hear the deathcore in them. They found their sound with Global Flatline and it's only gotten better since, in my opinion.
If any Aborted album had deathcore influences, it would be Strychnine.213, goremageddon is unashamedly death metal with some goregrind tinges. The band have been getting better and better since global flatline
A genuine 10/10 for me.
They found their sound with Global Flatline and they just keep getting better.

I can't fucking believe they managed again to top their previously best album with this one, and by FAR. They didn't miss a shot in 15 years..
Aborted is always consistent
This album is fucking amazing 🤘 I don't care much for their older material but this album is one of the best Death Metal albums so far this year 🤘😎🍻
Agree.. EVERYONE wants to say Job For A Cowboy.. sure it's a great album but I enjoy this much more but hey that's my opinion.

Very hyped to hear this one, from singles looks like one of their best records
EDIT- listened to it, this shit slaps, one of their best albums
So hyped for this one! Also new ulcerate single coming today
I'm looking forward to new stuff from an underrated band
Both aborted and ulcerate have me hyped @@DashieNegan41

Are we ever gonna get a 'reviewing every aborted album' vid?
Maybe some day, why not

Yea! We need this ASAP
This appears to be quite a rugged selection. Wonderful.
One of my favorites so I’m pumped for this one and this review made me more hyped!
seeing them live soon with revocation and carnifex
nice! gonna be a cool tour
Awesome review dude! I am looking forward to checking this out🙏👍🤘🤘

Meh, holiday themed videos don't ever seem to do that well.
My copy turned up today and it's been on constant rotation. Absolute beast of an album 🤘
I want to kindly remind that we're not in standard time now, it's daylight saving time so Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) is accurate
Oh hell year Aborted they whip ass. Love this band.🤘

Even more excited for this album after watching this dude!! My morning bus ride is going to be brutal! 😂
It's pretty much a modern Aborted album. If you like the last 3-4 Aborted albums with guest features, it's for you
I'll give this 4/5. Great album.
I've only done a quick listen through, and can already tell it's a banger.
These guys release so much music and STILL KILL IT! I love this album
Aborted. The Legolas of metal.
I just keep hearing ‘death core’ mentioned so I’m good
This album is so awesome. Gonna be listening to this a bunch
4/5 I'm enjoying Aborted new stuff
Best album since Necrotic Manifesto (10 years later)
I dunno man, Maniacult is it for me.
lol. Not even close. This album is a total dud.

Homie do a album war Cannebel Corpse/ Aborted.
Homie I dont know what that means lmao

AOTY for me.
The guitar notes on this album are inaudible which ruins it for me
Damn. I don’t know what it is about 90% of Deathcore but I get instantly bored by it. 3 songs in and I turned this album off.
Could care less about the guest stars bro
Total dud of an album.
Honestly not a fan of this band. Their albums after Goremageddon sound too much like Deathcore
I couldn’t even get into Goremageddon. The first 2 are decent

The album is punishing beyond words.
...if there was a prize for most annoying host...
is it a cash prize or some kind of statue?
The good aborted albums end with engineering the dead. I'm sorry.
just a horrible country and jazz album
