I think later Blackadder would have realized Flasheart only obeyed orders - you are not allowed stand by and let someone desert. Flasheart pulling a gun on him when he wants to stay is essentially this sort of thing.

Isn't that Ade Edmondson at the beginning, who played Vyvyan on The Young Ones?!?! I'm in the US, so no one bash me please for knowing nothing about this show lol 😂
Don't worry, there won't be any bashing! You are right that is Ade Edmondson. He and Rik Mayal started out as a double act in the eighties. There were two excellent comedy clubs in London at that time and when I saw them on stage I think it was at The Comedy Store. I have a clear memory of them having trouble getting off the stage at the end of their set because the audience wanted more! The Compere that night was Alexi Sayle who I think has worked in US, he has also made a documentary series here in the UK and has authored some books.
I am writing all this from memory so perhaps a Wikipedia search would be more reliable. 🙂.
@@helenhucker346 Wow Helen, thank you for all the info, that's fascinating! I know when I was around 11 or 12, we got to watch Young Ones late at night on MTV (I think it was 🤔), and I absolutely adored that entire cast! I will definitely be jumping down the rabbit hole on wiki for more, lol!!
